Some very mature posts here lately.. good to see some things don't change. I remember getting banned from another Phoenix thread, after pre-ordering early, for daring ask why there was an assumption that most people would get two. Very professional. Saved myself a lot of money not supporting this or their games anymore. So, though I'm but a wee single person, that hurt sales too, big picture. If only it made a different to something other than my wallet. Let the banhammer drop again!

Memories of where and when you first played/saw this game
slab0meat replied to retrorussell's topic in Arcade and Pinball
I, sadly, cannot remember where I first saw Food Fight. But that has always been one of my favorites. Great game! -
I've seen a few instances with "keep quiet etc" only for it to eventually show up. Always going to happen eventually.

Memories of where and when you first played/saw this game

I've never heard of Dazzler. My grandparents lived in North Arlington, NJ with their backyard next to a bowling alley parking lot. You'd walk out their back door, take a few steps, walk up some some concrete steps, where they basically had a raised garden... the fence at the top of these steps had a locked gate, and upon unlocking it, you were in the back part of the parking lot. Walk around to the front, they had their few games spread out in the usual spots. This bowling alley is where I first saw several games, Donkey Kong included. It was awesome. -

Trying to remember a C64 game
slab0meat replied to haunted_ipa_'s topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
Two Tigers? Arcade, it fits. Don't even remember if it was a C64 game. -
Ori took a backseat once I started Doom. Doom is manic. It gets crazy during battles. Still Rocket League. Still a little Rock Band 4 with the kids. Have Resident Evil 3 Remake waiting, plus need more Ori once I'm done Doom.

I don't know what I'm missing here, so I'll probably feel dumb when I hear an answer. For two-player games like Centipede, you can hit 1P Start and it will give you one credit. I see nothing happens when I press 2P Start. Holding the joystick down + 1P Start adds more credits. When I try to add a second credit before starting, it starts as a one-player game. How can I start it off with two players (i.e. how add two credits pre-game)?

Suggestion for alternate xbox one headset
slab0meat replied to Shannon's topic in Microsoft Xbox One
I need a new headset and had been holding off... is it 100% confirmed that any current headset will work on the new XBox? I'm thinking yes, but don't want to spend bigger money on this if it's a short-term investment. -
Still playing Rocket League. Started the new Ori, which is good other than some quick freezing moments. Weird. Getting the new Doom as well, soon.

I'm moved and unpacked, can sell again if there's any interest. Bump. -
I posted this in general, but I'll do it here too: I just moved and all my current TVs are missing RCA inputs. My modified ColecoVision has the yellow/red/white wires. Would this work? Amazon link

SEGA Star Wars arcade - ever seen it in real life?
slab0meat replied to Flojomojo's topic in Arcade and Pinball
Definitely, many years ago in a Florida arcade.. maybe Malibu or something, I think it was a big arcade that had racing. I think I played it at one other place as well, but have no idea where. I still have my original 32X and this game, but haven't had it hooked up in ages. -
Widely regarded as a pretty crappy game, I used to play the hell out of Vs. Baseball, and loved it on the NES. It has tons of flaws, but something about it always had me playing it. A local Pizza Hut had a sit-down dual screen Vs. Baseball, where your points keep ticking down (or up if you scored).. it was definitely a quarter eater.
