  1. Got mine the other day, as well... but haven't had any time to try it out.
  2. I still want it. Amazon sent me a message saying it shipped today. Like my NES and SNES classics, it will mostly sit after playing it a little.
  3. I haven't bought a physical game in ages. I use the Blu Ray player once in a awhile (also have a stand alone player). A discless option doesn't bother me at all, and I'd consider it.
  4. I got a near-launch fat 60 GB... granted it didn't get overworked, but it still works fine today. It's in the basement, mostly for Blu-Ray or Netflix right now.
  5. A bunch of us used to go on one called NAILS. Run from Rutgers Camden, I think. I met a lot of people from there, both locals, a few trips to meet people, and people who traveled to NJ for ocassional NAILS gatherings. It was great at the time.
  6. I had two different Volks modems for the C64 (I forget which model numbers).. Not great, but they did the job. I remember when my friends (twins) got a modem for their C64 and showed it to me, I'm not sure I'd ever seen one for Commodore. It was amazing at the time.
  7. Thanks for that link. I'd forgotten just how good that game was.
  8. I only went back two posts to my own, but several people mentioned Pro Wrestling. Great game. I loved that it had Bad News' "Ghetto Blaster", though not called that of course.
  9. Thanks for that link. While I question game list, like many others, comments like this always make me sour on a review: "The result, though, is that next to the stellar line-ups of the NES Classic and SNES Classic" ..... when the SNES lineup came out, I read a LOT of complaints how there were too few in total, and some odd choices. Granted, a lot liked it too, but there's going to be complaints with anything. I will get one, barely play it, and keep it as a collector, much like the NES and SNES ones.
  10. I just noticed this thread, can't watch video right now, but I loved the wrestling games back then. Most were mentioned. The arcade version of Tag Team Wrestling was great... I looked for that any time we hit a boardwalk over the summers. I didn't like the NES version (or was it the C64?) so much, but still played. Loved the original NES Pro Wrestling. Tecmo's was very good also. C64 (Epyx) Championship Wrestling kept me busy a long time, loved it back then.. as well as Bop/Rock n Wrestle. The WWF arcade games were great. Great! The Main Event was huge amongst our group for a time... even set up a big tag team match, with week-long hype and drama. I was on the winning side of that match! Mat Mania is probably #1, maybe #2... that one was excellent. Mania Challenge, not as much, but I never tired of Mat Mania.
  11. lol I bought Mr. Mosquito back in the day.... was looking for an oddball title. It was. (I did order a PS Mini, but no idea how much I'll actually use it)
  12. (sorry if this was mentioned, I eventually had to skip to the end) I appreciate the theory of buying more than one, as the value will (should) increase down the road, like many homebrew games. However, the people who aren't backing seem to either want more/different features and/or don't like the price point for themselves. Why would those people then spend *more* to get one when they don't want to now?
  13. I have a modded Yurkie one too... but with all the work into this and effort trying to keep the CV alive, I couldn't not support it.
  14. I just did the early access system. If this succeeds, is there a way to get that SNES style controller added on?
  15. Forza looks great and has me interested. I feel like my interest would fade quickly, as most racing games have in the past.
  16. Boringly, I've stuck to the same two since this thread started. On a good note, I've finally been able to beat the Dragun in Enter the Gungeon, twice. However, that's not even beating the game, there's more stuff that needs to be done. It's just a point I never thought I'd get to, so I'm happier with it.
  17. Great game, always liked it a lot. (I'm still upset that the Xbox 360 version screwed me out of the achievement where you dig all the dirt on a level... I sure did it, and nothing happened, years ago)..
  18. Eh that's OK, I'm going to do it now. Still toiling with Enter the Gungeon and Rocket League. Haven't played anything else in awhile.
  19. Another set of achievements with several near-impossibles... not that it REALLY matters, but it'd be nice to be able to unlock more than I will.
  20. I'm happy to say I'm better at Enter the Gungeon (I wasn't sure I'd ever improve), have done fairly well for a beginner, but find myself cursing out loud way too much at that game. And as I said before, I keep coming back to it.
  21. Sad to see that NFL Blitz got so few votes. That was a huge game amongst friends, with a lot of competitive juices flowing. I can't imagine they'd still have the old NFL names, though... not that it matters.
