  1. I need to move a pinball machine and some arcade cabinets from my old home in Texas to my new home in Utah.

If anyone has experience with moving machines like these a long distance, I'd like you recommendations on how to best do it.

I am hesitant to use regular movers, because I worry about these machines getting damaged if handled by people not experienced with handling these things.

  2. PM Sent. Once funds are transferred, I will post here and try to notify Curt. He will need your shipping address once everything is ready to ship.

Ok. I sent payment for agreed amount to Toiletunes for transfer of ownership of his pre-order to me. Please reply to this message to provide public confirmation that you're transferred ownership of you pre-order to me.

    Hi everyone...

So here is a quick update. Not much has occurred this year only because I've had several operations and my last in June seems to have fixed an issue that I've had since Dec 12'

The Yamaha audio portion is still questionable, it will be implemented it's just ironing it out.

There appears to be a very big issue with the memory system and keeping data stable.

The bus partitioning needs to be thoroughly tested out.

System console compatibility is the last to-do on the list once these other issues are addressed.

Mark is helping again as he has time as his job and life are extremely hectic so he can only put in a very very limited amount of time to this as right now I can myself as I've been done and just starting to really work again. I have tremendous amounts of bills to catch up on so my job and work are the priority as that time, but the XM gets my attention as I can.

When these major hurdles are fixed, next update post will be made so it will be a while.

    Curt

Curt: I hope you are recovering well, and my best wishes are with you. Whenever the XM is ready (however long it takes), please get in touch with me for payment of the remainder of Toiletunes' order and my shipping information.

I may be buying one more of these. I'm talking to a couple of other people who are looking to exit, and I will post another note if there is another transaction.

  3. Aren't you the gambling type :D

Maybe. I feel like I'd like to have one or two of these whenever they come out. I'm not going anywhere, so if it takes a while, I can wait.

I'd rather contribute some funds to the effort to complete these things and bring them into production, even if it still takes a few more years.

  4. Serious, I will gladly sell you my space in line. So far, it has cost me $89 (IIRC) and four years. I'm somewhat negotiable on the $89, but I really want my four years back. Does this seem unreasonable?

I can't do anything about your 4 years, but PM me and we can try to work out the cash part. :)

If anyone else wants to sell me their pre-order spot, I might be interested in 1 more. Let me know.

  5. We were watching Gremlins the other day, and while Stripe and Gizmo were wreaking havoc in the department store, this caught my attention:

That's the best shot of it I could get. I don't recognize this at all..

Given what was going on with Atari around the time this movie was released, I'm wondering if this was a product placement of a planned (but never released) game? My mind first went to Airworld, but I've since seen the art for that box, which doesn't resemble this one at all.

  6. I have one with a damaged case. I don't recall if I have a power supply for it, but I can guarantee to works.

I also have the A520 module, and it has the memory expansion board in it.

The damage to the case is part of it is broken off above the floppy drive.

I'm selling it because I acquired a boxed A500 to replace it.

Let me know if you're interested.

  7. Phoenix, Stargate, and Lady Bug get my vote.

    No one mentioned Gorf!?
For me it's very impressive how much was crammed into a regular 4k ROM.

I love Gorf, but I wouldn't call it a great conversion. It is a very good game, but doesn't feel at all like the arcade game to me.
