Interesting.. I never really thought about it, but I just tested myself. It appears I hold every controller type differently. Standard Atari CX type: thumb on one side, two fingers on the other. Wico bat: I grip the bat with my fist, with the fist resting on the base. Odyssey 2 controller: Sideways fist, holding the stick between my thumb and the rest of the fist. Maybe my preference for one controller over another are more about how I've been using it than the controller itself. I really like the O2 controller (except the sharp edges on the base wear on me after a while), but maybe it's more about how I've been holding it than the controller itelf.. Introspection time...

If it is currently on eBay, you might be able to get the seller to post more pictures. The underside label might be interesting.

I would love to see a new side-scrolling shooter for the VCS. There aren't nearly enough of them, in my opinion.

I used to be a fan of the Wico bat-handled joysticks, but these days, my hands and wrists get tired after using them. The only controller I find that I prefer these days for general use over the Atari CX-40 is the PlayStation 2 Dual Shock controller. (I have an adapter that allows me to use it on the VCS). The thumbstick is a nice way to play for hours without any wrist or hand fatigue.

It certainly looks like the Coleco Expansion module for Turbo (etc). I'm curious.. Does it work with the 2600/7800 as a paddle? I don't remember if it connected to the Colecovision's controller port(s), or if it connected to the expansion port..?

I'm considering acquiring a Video Arcade II system.. Does anyone know how the cartridge slot size compares to the Atari consoles? Specifically, will it accommodate Red Label, Activision, Imagic Blue Labels, and other larger cartridge types? Or is it more akin to a sixer?

I love the game. It's also one of the few VCS games my wife will play with me.

US Dept. Homeland Security Destroys Shrink-wrapped Games
Serious replied to Smitty's topic in Atari 2600
I have a few packages in transit, so now I'm worried. I guess I should stop smuggling shrink-wrapped Atari VCS games into the country from Venezuela. Why do there seem to be so many shrink-wrapped VCS games in Venezuela, by the way? -
I have a Supercharger, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't pay for a homebrew game for it.

I actually play my games, so I need to open the boxes from time-to-time. Opening these thin cardboard boxes without bending the lid a little bit doesn't seem to be my forte. It also isn't too difficult to put wear on the tabs under the lid. Are there any techniques you guys use to open the boxes without putting any noticeable wear on them?

It seems to work fine on my NTSC system. That's all I know for sure.

Cool. Let me know if you want any higher res scans or anything.

Thanks everyone for all the help. If I get any interesting info from the seller, I will share it here.

Here's a screenshot..

Yep. I sent him a note on it. Waiting to hear back on where/how he got it. From the screenshot on the Criminal Pursuit label, it does appear to be the same game.

Is anyone familiar with this game? I am trying to figure out the publisher, country of origin, and some indication of it's rarity. It seems to play fine on my NTSC system. I don't recognize this game as a re-title of any other game I've ever seen.
