Game titles I like to see appearing on A8 hardware...
Scooter83 replied to kiwilove's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I would like to have seen dragster make it to the a8. Other titles include Crazy climber Super mario bros 1 Atari video cube Gravitar Qbert qubes Also some version of combat or from the qbasic days. Tank wars. I think that would be sick and awesome. Tank wars on the a8. Set the angle and speed and have at it -
Nice room. When I move I hate to think the work required to break down the collection and move it

I think I have a manual for that. Unsure if it's a cart or disk manual.or I'd it was used for both at home

It's one masked 1 eprom covered with a gold atari logo stamped 7943. My video easel I believe is the same way .I'll see if I have pictures on my other phone with me and see if here's a way to post them on here via the mobile app

@tempest. Gotcha. The board has masked roms like the regular so wasn't sure and added anyway. @atari8bitcarts. I can read your list and stare at your collection all day and daydream. One of if not the best a8 collections around

My top rarest Life cxl 4005 Mogul maniac romox Pastfinder Hero Diamond mine idsi

I think the Canadian Mr dos castle is up there on the list. Matterhorn I'd put up there on the list. Would assembler debug cxl4003 (instead of assembler editor name) qualify from the press release as a raree cart since life cxl4005 and checkbook cxl8001 are known. Basic and assembler editor with the different style label Pathfinder seems to be pricy but I've seen a few on ebay Citibank cart and target banking cart. But I would say alot of the 3rd party utility carts seem to be hard to come by.
-
I'm wondering as I collect what are the rarest atari carts to collect .I've notice utility carts seem to be hard to come by as oppose to word processor and game carts. This doesn't mean it has to be expensive carts but usually are Feel free to lit what you feel are the rarest for the console.

I have 2 carts of the 810 field exerciser carts. One is the typed label with the FD part number on it. And I just ordered one that had a hand written 810 Rev 0 /Burn. That one I'm hearing might have been from an employee. Talking to the seller there were a few different builds of the 810 exerciser and was wondering if there was any difference in the 2. I'm on the road and can't plug my current in at home but I posted pictures on the atariage facebook page of the 2 carts and the boot screen of the Rev 0 cart. Does anyone have a screen shot of the cart with FD part number on it. Greatly appreciated. I'd add pictures here but can't seem to do it on the mobile phone

XEGS blue/tan cart "Must Haves"
Scooter83 replied to Rick Dangerous's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I'd say midnight magic is a good pinball game. Blue max is a must play so is choplifter. Hardball is probably the most detailed managerial style baseball game on the 8 bit line pitcher controls are good and roster controls are high end for 1987. -
I have a 4 port 2 port and a 4 port with an * . I was told by someone this was some kinda indication of a transitional system. I don't see any external difference in the 2 4 port units but maybe someone can tell me if the * means anything

Just picked up an atari 520st with an sc1224 monitor for 25 plus shipping. Should be ready for me when I get home in april. I made note to a friend I never got into the st line cause it was disk only software and my friend said no it has a cartridge port on the side. Was the st compatabile with the atari 8 bit line? Did the st have some cart based programs games and such?
