Thanks Allan. I'll need that to do the transfer. I'll message u when I get back home and I'll hook up the new 800 and well get these files moved over. I hope it's something valuable to the community on some level

I might be able to . I'll have to look up how to do that on google. Unless there's an instructional on here. That would be done around Feb 11th at the earliest. But I'd be more than happy to do that and see what's on these disks and share them with the community

Well here are the diskettes that go.with pilot. Some are dated 5 13 80 and some 5 14 80 and some about a pilot light pen demo and other demo disks. Figured I'd share em incase anyone had interest in seeing that.

Has anyone heard of the game stand alone for the atari 8 but computer? Anyone recall this from any magazine? I got a cart with that name on it being mailed to me and thinking might be a home made game. Never heard of it and thinking how to even go about searching online. On the off chance any way search old atari project names for this?

These were the last 2 . A guy on here bought most of them with the CES documentation and made reference in the post about my carts. About as close as I can get to documenting so far. Same seller to him was to me and I bought the last 2 that were left. Game play seems to be the same. Looks like yellow might been added after the label applied is what I was told but couldn't tell you either way. I'll be home Feb 10th please remind me to take pics when I get home. I tend to forget and just picked up possibly 2 new atari 8 bit computer prototypes to research also.

Hey all I picked these 2 beauties up tonight. I'm a suckered the stage and odd and these qualified. The pilot I'm guessing is a pre production tested version dated 3/80 (probably a finished copy for reviewing ). The 2nd cart called stand alone I have no clue about it. It's not on an assy cart I'm thinking maybe some hack job someone programmed on their own. Maybe a home brew from the 80s. Maybe an in house name for a later released title I don't know. I won't be able to test these out till I'm home in February as they are being mailed to the house while I'm on the road. I sent a message to tempest and cpuwiz about these. Just strange and different and wanted to share incase anyone had information on em. Story I got was these got rescued from a recycle center in california. Guy I bought em from lives 30 minutes from sunnyvale. A kid brought in a 800 with some games for the 2600 and a8 with the 800 system and when asked he bought it from a lady who's husband worked for atari. The system serial number on the label and stamp on the console reads 070 0133. Thanks again for reading and I hope to learn something about these carts.

I found one that read 070 0123(or 0133). I figure 7th week of 1980 and 0123( 0133) is kinda a low serial number I'm guessing idk

BC Quest for Tires so far i havent. but I still need to hook it up to a color tv with sound. As for as the other one I have nothing to compare it too. There was an old post about some Barry collection these were 2 other ones that wasnt taken during the big buy out that one of the other Atari Age members had bought. There was some 1984 CES binder or book. that I would love to put with this. cause all i have to link these 2 carts to the 1984 CES is one guy saying it was and some Barry collection guy who had a huge collection of Colecovision stuff. Not enough for me to document this like I would like. If I could find pics or scans of the book to link these to the 84 CES it would be awesome. I believe the guy I bought em from but it always help to have the documentation in order. Historical reference is helped with documents. Had I known this guy sooner maybe I could have bought a few more for my collection.

My friend sold me these 2 carts over the weekend. Told me were from a large lot from the 1984 CES show in June of 1984, They wasnt expensive but kinda cool and figured Id share these with the group. I was told the B.C. Quest For Tires was hand spray painted for the show ( also has a small sticker under the cart label) This label doesnt look anything like the Canadian or US label variation , while the 2010 has white lettering with some white label under it. Either way enjoy.

I havent seen any regular release Thorn Emi carts with Eprom boards and chips installed in the case. The only other one Ive seen like it is a Not For Resale cart of Computer War I got a few years ago. The front label of my Orc Attack doesnt say anything like that. Any thoughts to this cart? Where they known for recycling Eprom chips and boards like this for regular release?

GAME ROOM Tips, Setup & Storage - On the CHEAP!
Scooter83 replied to Metal Jesus's topic in Show Us Your Collection!
I need to take pictures of my collection and set up. I'm defiantly not using the space to the max like a good game room should... also I'm moving in about 2 years I don't know how much I should really be investing in storage shelves since I'm home every 5 weeks. What would your advice be on thi situation. -
