I got to play this game yesterday at the monthly NAVA meeting in NJ. Amazing doesnt start to describe the game. I love the game play the controls and the color on the barrels. The whole US and Japan settings and the difficulty settings are a nice touch. Im sold on this when its finally done.

Does anyone have a pic of what a dorsett board looks like or the chips look like so when I unscrew the back case I have something to compare it to. I won't be able to test it till I get home and ill be at work all night. Any other brands use Atari 8 bit cases for their official releases?? Since I have a 14 day return if this isn't authentic I can return it for a refund. Wanna just find out what i have before I do a return. Thanks for any help

I got this cart and the cart is an Atari brand cart instead of the brown cart. Under the dorsett label is an Atari brand label. Any ideas is this legit or a copy repro cleverly done. Any idea ideas dorsett any carts like this? Opinions??

Mine would be one of three items. 1. Mogul Maniac in a Romox reprogrammable cartridge 2. Atari 1200XL system. 3. My two Atari Demo Cartridges. ( CXL4019 400/800 in store demo, RX8105 XE Demo Cart) What I wish I had would be a legit prototype or 2.

I got an atari 800 in the mail and I came across in the system a RAMCRAM 32K chip in it. The setup in the ports are : < 10K ROM CHIP> < 16K RAM CHIP> < RAMCRAM 32K> < OPEN SLOT > The RamCram says that it goes behind the 16K and totals 48K. Is there anyway to toss another 16K ram and max it out at 64K? I would think if the RAMCRAM is correct the system would ignore the last 16K of Ram. Just wondering if you could add more and get away with it.

Yes I'll go back to that and edit it. I'm so use to the term web for things when in the 80s it was news groups and message boards and such. Oversight on my part.

So far on google I either find nothing or Cart based releases. Does anyone here have a list of the cassettes released with model numbers by atari?

Is there a reason why this is a better drive than say the Atari 810, 1050 or other 3rd party brands? Didnt know if there was something else to this drive that makes it really special when compared to other drives of the era.

I can probably pull another video cable for you. you need ust 2 of the 3 RCA cables to hook it up to your TV. one for video other for sound. AC XEGS is a 5volt 1 amp unit. I believe you can use a power adapter from a 65 XE or 130XE . Not sure about which of the XL units you can use But I believe they are compatable . ( please dont hold me to which ones im not sure off the top of my head). But it will need a keyboard.

Honestly I drilled some holes in the back to link up to another xegs system case to make a laptop. But I don't get very far. Outside of the drilled holes the system hasn't been modified. Still a bone stock xegs. The system is still available for $30+ shipping.

Perhaps the boxes were over stock productions for more international releases that never materialized for Canada. Canada is next to the us and could be trucked over easily.
