Maybe the seller had an ST at some point maybe. Figured Id ask before I got it and sold it thinking it couldn't be used for the 8 bit line and later find out otherwise

That is what I saw. But seeing it boxed with the Atari goods I'm getting I figured maybe it has some kinda Atari use maybe there's an adapter like graphix AT or voice master adapter. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Digitpress.com has an online guide. But they don't price out all the games. Anything like pilot action! Non game carts seem not to be priced. I wonder what would be a good price guide for games? Someone should work to compile all eBay game gavel amazon completed sold sales. Not the I'm asking cocaine money for a cart.

I'm getting in a boxed mars 800 marstek hand scanner with my lot of 8 bit hardware. Complete in box with the boxed games. I've looked around online and I don't see how this would be compatable with the Atari 800 system and how this would hook up. Since everything else looks right for the system I wonder how this works. Has anyone ever had one of these and or have seen this hooked up to an Atari system?

I'm interested in hearing what 8 bit stuff is going to be added

I was looking at editor assembler cxl4003 for 45.00 but was waiting to hear a bit more from the room first. I don't think anyone should be surprised he bit on it. Could have been a good deal no risk no reward if the price appeared to be fair.

I see this not working out for them. And if the used games sections dwindle away I see GameStop going the way of blockbusters. This would have us reverting back to how it was in the 70s and 80s shops selling new consoles and game stuff best buy sears toy stores etc. Question is do you see GameStop with enough cash flow to stay afloat in the online only sector or store front sector of the market selling new games new consoles gift cards and new and used controller equipment. I think GameStop will go through a paradigm of being an online warehouse company with maybe stand alone sections in malls for returns and of course gift cards for. The systems and online purchasing.

Super excited to get my copy of Princess Rescue today. Gonna be a long night of breaking this game in.

I have a spare XEGS that I was going to use for a project and that kinda put on the back burner. I have no use for it anymore. The system works well , but has a few cosmedic flaws at the back of the system ( grey plastic shell ) from where I was working on my project. But if you have the trimmings to make this a complete system ( RCA cables, controller a spare power pack , keyboard ) then you could have yourself a really nice system. Ive tested this system out to work fine with no problems. Looking for $30.00 + Shipping ( From zipcode 07676 ) on the console or for a trade for Atari 8bit computer items. Which ever you would prefer to do. Let me know what you would like to do and we can talk it out from there. I prefer to let this go to a good home here than fight with ebay and the fees and all that mess.

Looks like fun. Too bad many gamers wouldn't have the room for something like that.

I think this might be a Galaxian Proto..Tell me what you think
Scooter83 replied to Paul Westphal's topic in Prototypes
Even though its not a prototype, a dealer copy is something that is still uncommon. ( I havent seen one before that i can recall ). That is a nice little cart. Thanks for sharing that with us. -

Scooter83 replied to Paul Westphal's topic in Prototypes
The Shell looks like a typical early case. The board Ive seen a few with that color board I think my collection houses a few of them. The reason I shy away from a prototype is because: It doesnt have a window that would be used to erase the eeprom and to reuse the rom chip. The fact that the chip is soldered to the board and not the type of setup that chips can be plugged in and pulled out easily. ( I have a pilot cart that has one of these chip quick disconnect setups). Still wouldnt say its a proto but would make it more realistic to be one if the programmers can plug and go with chips on the fly. I like UZs idea of it being a review copy. That makes the most sense. Since it appears from the chip that its a final version not something that will be erased and reprogrammed. The chip setup backs up the idea of a final copy . I could be off but Im sure if Matt weighs in we can get a more definite answer
