  1. I store mine for the time being in a big box. BUT I did find out if you go to your local card place and buy 50 count hard case holders you can store the carts in them. Some are a tight squeeze ( if so move to the 100card count cases) add a little padding to the bottom and your set to go. They really store well carts dont get bounced around much, labels dont get nicked and they stack nicely ( good for those later XE smooth cases with the handle on the back ).

    Something like these:

  2. From what I've learned they ported the 5200 over to the 8 bit but due to the crash of 83 it was shelved. When the xegs came out a few other titles were taken off the selves and released. Crystal castles is one title that comes to mind. For some reason I guess Atari thought it aged badly from 83 to 88 and redid the whole game. Yet the title screen still shows the the * and # that was found on the controllers for the 5200

  3. Cleaning out my stock pile of items bought over the last month or 2 and found a stack of spare duplicate game manuals.

Id like to find good homes for them and maybe a trade for a game or manual if anyone has any for trade. If not cash via paypal works too. Not looking for a killing but if they find good homes and I can add something cool to the collection both sides win. OK well here we go. The titles I have available right now are :

    $1.25 ea

    FROGGER

    CENTIPEDE X2

    DONKEY KONG

    DONKEY KONG JRX2

If you can use any let me know and we will work something out. value on these are probably 1.50 or 2.00 max ea . but talk to me if your interested and we will work something fair out. Thanks again.

  5. I want to present to everyone ( even though this is in the infant stage) my new Atari 8-bit computer website. http://www.a8museum.com Right now its fully functioning as a nice little thumbnail image board of different systems addons and carts that I have in my collection. I hope to add more and also get submissions for others to built it up.

New features to be added will be game pages with cartridge, manual and box images and a little feed on each one as time permits. Another thing I want to try to do as time permits is add a screen shot to the each page. I want each page for you to be able to get as much as you can from each title. It'll take a while for it to be what I want it to be, but I hope this will be a good start.

If you have anything to add to site ( images or info) or ideas to make the site better im all for it.

  7. Probably in 1987 it was a computer that doubled as a game system to help clear out the warehouse in both areas.

Yet looking 26 years later it really isn't a productive computer on any level. And now it's basically just a game system that used computer addons. Disk drives data cassette drives.

I use it today as a video game system yet I still see it as what was a computer but being left behind compared to what the ST could do.

  8. The things you post are the things I look at a day or 2 before it makes it here and I wonder is that just normal or something more. I am glad I double guess myself cause some of these deals arent what they look to be. The prototype lot of 15 that got pulled down I figured if I went to buy em separate Id be looking at 20 ea. so thats what like 300 or so? Yeah. So its more just fishing. and when you make an offer they make more money still. I cant blame them for the pricing but can for the descriptions. You need to be more honest about them for sure. Dont make it something it isnt.
