  1. Merry Christmas to you and your family Paul.
  2. Anything to fit a800 games. I assume some might work with a2600 box protectors but interested to see what about other sizes
  3. Ok now I'm on the same page that was the one I was talking about I sent you a picture in a provate mesage and thoughtyou meant the other one which I thought was a best repro label. It's a really brown cart with a brown label without the cxl number. But now I get which one your speaking of. I guess I'm looking for the best label variant. That just leaves me now wondering what the last one in the pic I sent you is. The basic cart without the part number. I think now starting to learn what is what when it comes to basic carts and labels.
  4. Back at it again. Cart I got said computing language. So back at it looking.
  5. What is the best way to pop the keys off a xegs keyboard when retrobriting them. I heard of a key cap puller but is that the safest way ? Are the xegs keys harder to take off compared to the 800 and the xl line of computers?
  6. I picked one of the basic carts up. The seller has no communication skills whatsoever. I've sent a few messages but I figure with a return policy I'd play the lottery and see if I get the one in the picture (since asking didn't get me anywhere ). Worst case I return it. A friend tipped me to that one but kinda wished there was one on here to buy and know what I'm getting exactly. I paid the entry fee on the ebay one let's hope for the best. Well in the launch press release assembler editor was listed as assembler debug. As with the wierd educational system (no master cartridge ) , how basic computer program came before the rename to basic computing language, life label made before video easel I'm thinking out there someplace is a assembler debug cart before the rename to assembler editor. I can't prove it but I have a gut feeling it's out there. Unsure about super bug cxl4006 but the assembler debug might be a thing. Doesn't hurt to look and hope it gets discovered.
  7. Working on a lead now. Still looking for variants of assembler editor.
  8. I have the lay out pretty much figured out for the main section with a general idea for the label variant section. So far the main section is around 200 pages give or take plus the other section. I do need help getting cart pictures for the hard to come by utility carts and information on them for the corresponding text sections. If anyone is interested in it feel free to let me know. I have 233 different titles at the moment but I know the cart total is much much higher.
  9. Just this CXL4001 educational system master cartridge minus the master cartridge designation.
  10. Looking to purchase for the atari 400 basic computer program label variant. Let me know if you have one available or can help put me in touch with someone who has one avaliable . I have the computing language version just need the computer program variant. $25.00 Reward to the person who gets me one
  11. Allan we definitely have to. I need to stop procrastinating and do a meet up in december. Ill bring my carts and disks that need dumping and see what people can use for the community. I'll send you a message. Toddler everyone but this cart I've seen has been a master cartridge
  12. I'll see what I can do. I don't have the stuff to dump at the moment. I'll be willing to send this off to get dumped. And the community can study the dumppedal rom.
  13. My "master cartridge" has a 1979 date on it. Looking forward to cart inspection on this one and seeing what I can learn if anything. See if this was before they added master cartridge or after it before Dorset took over
  14. Hmm.. learned something new. I've seen the Dorset stickers added over the cxl part number when Dorset first started releasing this cart. Then they made their own labels. Kinda now makes me wonder just how many variants there are to this title. I'm up to 3 now.
  15. First time ever seeing one without the master cartridge text. I've seen 1979 date back plates with the change in the label. I guess this is a very early release run then?
  16. Here's a new one for me and wanted to share incase someone might have more info about it. I bought this cart tonight and it's missing text off the label. I've been collecting 20 or so years and even with aGoogle image search the only photo of it is the one I bought. Does anyone here have another example of this variant I can see? I'm waiting for board and metal back pictures but I'm wondering if this is an early batch or maybe something for promotional use like my life (later to be video easel) cart. Caught my eye and I saw it was not right so I took a gamble on it. Maybe someone here can weigh in on it. Maybe it's just an unusual label variant maybe something more. But took a risk and if nothing else a variant for my collection. I've enclosed a pic of the cart vs the normal one from my personal collection and website.

  18. Atari Leaf, Ive been following you on youtube for years. I have to say you have a nice channel. It doesnt feed to the money hungry masses who see something and try to capitalize on it. Your just a cool guy with games and shares his passion for games. THIS is what youtube should be. I always look forward your videos cause its just a gamer having fun. No fluff ,hype or monitary gain to be had like bigger channels. Never change man. Your impact helps us true gamers enjoy our stuff even more.
