Again, I would invest in this project the full amount, I would just like the str8 info. I mean, the man who owns it says its glitches and not complete. In fact he said he KNEW it wasnt complete. My heart wants to believe John Hardie, my wallet wants to believe Joe.
Is it possible Joe at DP doesnt know what he has?

You could do ALOT better on ebay and get a buttload of games ofr around that price

Asking which is the best flight sim in the 7800 library is like asking which is the best way to die.
To me, Ace of Aces is like passing away in your sleep. The rest are like being burned and/or having body parts ripped off of your body with your mom and your Jr. High gym coach watching

I talked to Joe today about buying it. He said that the game crashed after while. He forgot at what point. I told him I didn't want to spend $5000 on an unfinished game and he said he respected that decision.
He also said not to go into too many specifics about the game on message boards because he couldn’t remember a lot about the game because it has been forever since he messed with it. So I won't.
But since it is not complete I will not buy it to make more games for our community. Somebody else may want to, but I'm not gonna pony up the dough on an unfinished game.

Do you guys know this game is not complete?

I'd consider buying it, I just don't know how to dump it. If I buy it will someone produce it?

E-mail sent. I suppose the boxes state which is PAL and which is NCTS. By the way, I did not say in my e-mail that I am Atari Dogs, so if you don't know who the guy is that sent it, that's me.
They are marked

First sets go out in the mail tommorow.
BTW: I have one 7800 Klax cart left (no manual or box). Also $25 and I can throw in a PAL Sentinel along with it
Thanks,
-Lee
Did you get my email? I'll take the Klax too!

Rush 1985 anyone?
Does anyone know the prequel to San Fransico Rush for 13 dollars and a handshake?
You have ten seconds from this post.
Anyone? Anyone?

#48 came home today.
Ken, awesome work. AtariAge, Al, and everybody else who had a hand in getting the game out there, on behalf of all of us: thanks a bunch. The game is well worth the price of admission. So cool to see the AtariAge logo on the TV screen, a website address and a 2006 copyright date courtesy of the ol' ProSystem.

Pit Fighter would be nice. But that one needs alot of help with the graphics, judging from the screenshots.
That's because it's not really Pitfighter with those graphics. Honestly, if someone hadn't told you that the game was Pitfighter, would you have known? It looks like a generic Double Dragon clone to me. I can't believe they were even trying to pull off Pitfighter on the 7800...
Tempest
Agreed with you there. I can't see Pitfighter possibly being pulled off on the 7800. At least anything close to the arcade version. I actually have Pit Fighter for the SNES and it is very Arcade close. The 7800 version looks awful when compared to it.
Ya know and who cares? Pitfighter kinda sucks anyway even on the SNES. I might be dead wrong but the attraction of Missing in Action (besides the recent Chuck Norris craze) is that it was original and it looked pretty cool... lots better tha the 7800's Double Dragon

You have to remember that the 7800 was a distant third in the console market (behind the NES and SMS) for much of its life, and so there aren't as many 7800 cartridges in the wild
A distant 3rd, but very close to 2nd place. I can't hardly find ANY old games in the wild. It's insane!
(Save Combat and Pac-Man, that is)

Although, I'm not sure even on a "harder" difficulty that this would equal more "excitement", from my experience with 7800 titles. It isn't that they're pushover easy... it is that they feel slow, sluggish, less intense. They're not as a crisp as 5200 titles.
I think you are crazy

It's not about hoarding the game-the fellow in question has released others through reproductions and downright rom releases. They just can't get it to copy, and last time I talked to him, he said that it wasn't a high priority in his life right now, but that he'd try to get it to copy and made available to the community when the time arises.
Bothering him about it won't make it happen any faster, and all the negativity and complaining that happens in the hobby is the main reason he's distanced himself from it in the first place(hence why I'm not saying who it is). Just be patient, and it will come out eventually

Oh, ok, then
I'll take off that hex

Why is "this person" always shrouded in such secrecy? Is it someone any of us would know? Does he realize that if the cart was mass produced, the original prototype would still be valuable?
Funk
Better to learn how to program the 7800 and write my own games (which I'm doing (slowly)). Offering him money probably isn't going to work (especially something like $100.)
Allan
Just think what could be accomplished if everyone saved their energy (and wallets) for exciting new projects instead of uselessly expending lots of effort trying to get a copy of some old piece o' crap from someone who isn't interested in sharing. Much more productive to encourage our 7800 coders with our attention and money. And MIA apparently sucks. it's not as if this is Phear, people!
I buy every single 7800 game that comes out. There have been ALOT of Pac-man games that have come out recently and I have supported those people as much as I can as well as anyone else that puts out a game. I do this to have the best review-based 7800 website I can, but also because I love the system.
The shame to me is this: There was a completed 7800 game that was never released, and because of someone's selfish motives no one else can enjoy it. It wasnt like there was 900 7800 games so who cares, there was 57. The system itself is still a mystery. Games like Midnight Mutants and Tower Toppler show us there is great potential in the system, but we really haven't experienced the ceiling. So any new game that is made or any old game that is found is like another piece of a puzzle to what this system is about.
I guess the guy has a right to do what he wants with what he owns, but he could make a lot of people happy if he just released it/ dumped it/ provide the ROM, etc. If the guy isnt into collecting anymore, he should sell the dam thing

88,645 on Centipede today. The joystick is MUCH better than the Wico trackball.
At least for me
Hey Vinnie that beats the High Score for Centipede on your page!

What type of stick are you using? I've got the Specter stick and it works pretty good so far. Nice score man, youre now numero uno.

It's actually the stick from the Flashback 2
I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT PICKING UP THE FB2 BUT COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT THE MAJORITY OF GAMES ARE? BY THAT I MEAN MOST OF THEM ARE 2600 GAMES RIGHT? WHAT ARE THE 7800 GAMES IT OFFERS?
All of the games are 2600 games.
You can check here for a rundown
