1. well, hell.... that's awesome. Does the 7800 Save Mary have box art too? Cousin Vinnie
2. can anyone post a pic of what it all looks like? CV
3. By the way, I just wanted to say that I used some artwork/ screenshots from people here for the review and I gave proper credit (I think) to who deserved it. If you want to be acredited differently or if you want the art taken down, just PM me or ridicule me in the public sector. Vinnie
4. I finally decided to review Save Mary for the Froo-Froo b/c it was released as a 7800 game. Not trying to stir up any debate or anything about whether it is a legitamite 7800 game, just trying to enhance the site and get my review legs under me again before I do Combat 1990. http://flipsiderunner.com/7800/savemaryr.html Enjoy! Cousin Vinnie
5. I think you mean Quake 3, not Doom. 978664 Hey, I'm glad you posted that. I wanted to check that out again. Vinnie
6. Well, my point is that it's pretty pathetic. Most Europeans don't get American Football, and they don't care that they don't get it. It's like how Americans don't care about Rugby, for the most part. You have your few stragglers who like it I'm sure. I know I love it. Vinnie
7. I'm selling a ton on ebay. They normally sell for about 10 bucks Cousin Vinnie
8. Back in the late 80's there were american football fans over there. There were some fans. I talked a person on a plane. The person was packer fan despite being in greece. Also if there was no interest in American football why would there be Nfl europe? 977224 God, that's cute. Have you ever seen the attendance at an NFL Europe game? Cousin Vinnie
9. Here's a stupid question... why release an American Football game for Europeans? Cousin Vinnie
10. The enemies actually behave differently, especially the green mines... they are more sporatic and yellow. The blue mothership is much more aggressive and faster. The yellow and brown tie fighters are slower and take less pot shots. The skulls seem to ram your ship less too. Vinnie
11. I guess that proves if you build your stuff shitty enough, people will buy 2 or 3 (like I did) Vin
12. I'm not sure if this has been said, but a Flashback that had 10 2600, 10 5200, 10 7800 games and a few homebrews would be great. Using the 7800 hardware, could it pull it off? Cousin Vinnie
13. Here's my Flashback 2 review http://flipsiderunner.com/7800/flashback2r.html Cousin Vinnie
14. Oooooh Fire Tiger you are a genius and didn't even know it. A two player Cracked where one guy had the light gun to shoot animals and the second person dropped the eggs into the baskets with a controller would be awesome! Cousin Vinnie
15. Maybe 20 if you are very lucky. If the Atari worked you are looking at 40- 50 bucks Vinnie
16. That and the fact that I have no idea what I'm talking about half the time. Cousin Vinnie
17. Crack'ed requires two buttons so that's a no go on your wish for a light gun conversion. Cousin Vinnie
18. I've been busy like a mug, but I finally updated my Atari 7800 website for the first time since I uploaded the video footage of Akuma getting beaten like a fool. First, I included a news blurb on Combat 1990 which I will be reviewing soon, it also has gameplay footage so you dont have to steal Mitch's bandwidth. Secondly, I reviewed the Flashback. Yes, I know everyone is dying to hear a review of that, but I got the Flashback 1 and 2 this week and I will review FB2 soon. I also have a Save Mary review coming up too. See you in the funny papers! Cousin Vinnie www.flipsiderunner.com/7800
19. Wow that looks pretty damn cool. After the 48th time watching it, it reminded me of something funny... J/K Mitch. Do you mind if I put that video on the Froo-Froo? Cousin Vinnie
20. That's just what I was wondering ... why shouldn't buyers just post reviews of the game here on the forums so other interested people can make up their own minds? That would be a whole lot easier than finding a way to let everyone try it without giving away the game. I'll certainly post a review when I get mine. As for new 7800 games, I can't wait to see them, and I certainly can't wait to add my own (I'm working on some ideas right now). 968225 I'm buying one and reviewing it at Cousin Vinnie's Atari 7800 Panoramic Froo-Froo this weekend. 21. The game is sooooo different than the original game, I wonder if it is more easily defeated. Anyone had the stomach to try? Cousin Vinnie
22. Hey this is late and none of the 2600 people know me, but here goes: 1) Pitfall 2 2) Warlords 3) Enduro 4) Solaris 5) Yar's Revenge 6) Battlezone 7) Crystal Catles Moon Patrol 9) Star Raiders 10) Dig Dug Word. Cousin Vinnie
23. Alright you jerks. How in the holy hell did you guys beat Scrapyard Dog? Were the big sewer jumps in world 3 the hardest part? If so, I may give it another go. Cousin Vinnie
