  1. Here I updated the point standings: http://www.flipsiderunner.com/7800/highscore.html Here are the results of Xenophobe week: 1) Jedi Jeff 2) RJ 3) Trip Cannon 4) Goochman Cousin Vinnie
  2. Well guys, I played the game that day, but didn't have a chance to get on a computer until Thursday since my computer was down. I'll pull the score though. Cousin Vinnie
  3. Wow! That's amazing! Perhaps this gives a bit more credence to the stories about 7800 Gauntlet being planned. Did some programmer steal these sounds because the game was scratched? Or was this a "tease" for a new game coming.... hmm? Cheers! Joey Or maybe there's a hidden Gauntlet game in Jinks that no one has found out how to unlock yet. Mitch I play it all the time, I just choose to keep it to myself. Man, is it great, too. CV
  4. In a sick twist of fate, Cousin Vinnie was able to outscore the two people who wanted to play Xenohobe the most, RJ and Jedi Jeff. Who would have thunk it? After the win, CV finally ties Trip Cannon over the hotly contested 2nd place, RJ strengthens his grasp on 5th place and Goochman moves into sole 8th place. As always be sure to check out the HSC homepage for all of your HSC needs: http://www.flipsiderunner.com/7800/highscore.html Results: 1) Cousin Vinnie 1,146,895 2) Jedi Jeff 1,083,430 3) RJ 768,325 4) Trip Cannon 238,375 5) Goochman 15,525 1. 5. 1,146,895 This game is freakin easy until your gun blows up. Then, the face of the game changes quickly. Cousin Vinnie
  6. Go to a pawn shop. You can pick up extra GC controllers for like 10 bucks a piece at larger ones. CV
  7. Bah, it's reknowned as one of the best 7800 games by several peeps. CV
  8. Could you let me know what it's saying?? Welcome! You can't catch me! Or Help! Get the bugs off me! Or Muh Muh! My Muh Mant Me! Either one of those. Cousin Vinnie
  9. Ultima 7800 is a good game if you like infinitely deep gameplay and free roaming levels with the branching paths leading to one of 12 different endings. Cousin Vinnie PS: This glue smells gooooooooooooooooooooooood, boy.
  10. Good lord man, what the hell? I can't even wrap my head around that statement. TRIP!!!! Planet Smashers is the WORST GAME? THE WORST? It may be unimaginative to a large degree, but it is the only 2D shooter to offer and ending. Plus, it has six bosses, warp codes, an asteroid belt and the earth shield is an cool idea. My biggest gripes are the terrible sound effects and the boring graphics. While no gem, it is def. playable and I enjoy taking it on once in awhile to see if I can still beat it. It's challenging as heck. Cousin Vinnie
  11. Most of the games in the 7800 library require two buttons. Most of the ones you mentioned only require one. CV
  12. The game has never attempted to have the 4 horsemen. I mean, what the heck is up with that? No Flair? And it's a "Legends" game? Why has Arn Anderson never been on a good wrestling game? Man, that guy is under rated. Cousin Vinnie
  13. I suck at games... I stick with ones that are easy to finish Pikmin- GC Final Fantasy CC- GC Super Smash Brothers Melee- GC Timesplitters 2- GC Cubivore- GC Super Monkey Ball- GC Star Wars Rebel Strike- GC Star Wars Rouge Leader- GC Mario Kart Double Dash- GC Ikaruga- GC On the lighter side: Space Channel 5- DC Ninja Golf- Atari 7800 Alien Brigade- Atari 7800 Cousin Vinnie
  14. No No No No hold the phone... The Ms. Pac-Man version on the 7800 is probably the best around and I'll tell ya why: It's crazy fast. A lot of fun. The 7800 is reknowned for having very good arcade ports, but sadly, many of the 7800 original games aren't very good, although there are about 15 or so that I really like (Midnight Mutants, Ninja Golf, Tower Toppler, Alien Brigade, etc). I disagree about the controllers, I always preffered them to the NES joypads... but then again, I like rancid milk. Check out this AmAzInG site for your 7800 needs: www.flipsiderunner.com/7800/index2.html Cousin Vinnie
  15. All the reviews I have seen says its worse than the first one. Yikes. CV
  16. Man, I love the 7800, but there is no way to discern between these titles: Super Huey Jinks Realsports Baseball Touchdown Football Title Match Mat Mania Barnyard Blaster The unbeatable Impossible Mission Those should all go to hell with the extra ET carts that were buried in the desert. Karateka IS a very weak game, but it is no worse than those listed above. If you have never played the computer versions, its not that bad. Cousin Vinnie
  17. Heck yeah, mofo... some of those games are brutal. Cousin Vinnie
  18. Lookie here, lookie here. Xenophobe is..... um... here. We will end the game next Wed. at Midnight We will play the game on Advanced difficulty We will rock much booty For the details on the High Score Club, hook it up: http://www.flipsiderunner.com/7800/highscore.html Pecae, Cousin Vinnie
  19. Get this: Today I bought 5 Dreamcast games for 10 cents! The invoice comes back... 5 Dollars to ship EACH game PLUS A REQUIRED 7.50 INSURANCE!!! These five games went from 10 cents to $37.50!!! I told him I'd give him 23 bucks for them all, but he said no. He can eat it. Cousin Vinnie
