  1. That was it. I installed full Ubuntu and that error was resolved. Now when I try to run the git command it returns the error in the attached image.
  2. When I run the "sudo apt install build-essential libfuse3-dev libssl-dev" command it returns E: Unable to locate package libfuse3-dev. I am running Minimal Ubuntu. Do I need to run a more fleshed-out version? How do I get around the error?
  3. As we all know our machines are hitting close to the half-century mark and the power supplies are tending to die and take the computer with it to death. That being said I am in search of a replacement power supply for the 400/800 series computers and peripherals as well as the XL and XL series. First, the 400/800, which my research shows 9V AC output. Would this work as a replacement? https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Regulated-Switching-Interchangeable-Equipment/dp/B0BFPXZ7S1 I am also looking to recap everything I can to avoid the blown cap issue as well. Does anyone know the needed caps to make this happen? Thanks
  4. I ordered this tonight and will be here tomorrow. I hope it will do the trick. I had played with all this stuff YEARS ago and just had a jog my brain to start remembering it all. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCF3C1YF/ref=sspa_dk_detail_4?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0CCF3C1YF&pd_rd_w=tQJxR&content-id=amzn1.sym.f734d1a2-0bf9-4a26-ad34-2e1b969a5a75&pf_rd_p=f734d1a2-0bf9-4a26-ad34-2e1b969a5a75&pf_rd_r=JA1AXQ4NFVWTX0TE4GW1&pd_rd_wg=jY8XG&pd_rd_r=9378ed09-6247-48e2-82d6-01fe0d37ca08&s=pc&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWw
  5. Awesome work. I love the keyboard options. Glad to see the DS version in active development again.
  6. I always read an FTDI board was needed as an intermediary between the SIO and USB.
  7. Are there instructions for installation somewhere on the github? I didn't see them but may have missed them.
  8. Are you saying I would just need the cable you link to connect an Atari 810/1050/Rana/Indus drive to USB on my PC and use ASPEQT to make disk images?
  9. In the past, unless I am getting old and it was just my imagination, I read something from a user who wrote a program, using an Atari computer and drives, to create ATRs. The interesting thing about it was they wrote it to read bad sector multiple times so it could construct a good version. I believe it used SIO2PC or similar to write out the ATR file. Does anyone remember this or a thread like this?
  10. Cool. Thanks phaeron. I noticed that there are matching sections that match the GUID for keymap, etc. I am correct that if not specified the defaults are on play?
  11. Can someone shed some light on the altirra.ini file? Specifically the line in bold below. Is the Hex value at the end significant in some way or just random? Thanks, T.E [User\Software\virtualdub.org\Altirra\Profiles\6AC4B1FF] "_Name" = "400/800 Computer" "_Visible" = 1 "_Category Mask" = "hardware, firmware" "_Saved Category Mask" = "hardware, firmware" "Hardware mode" = 0
  12. Count me in for two. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  13. 1.) Action 3.6 2.) Basic XL 1.03 3.) Basic XE 4.2 4.) Integer Basic 1.00 C 5.) Mac/65 with DDT 3.6 6.) The Writer's Tool 2.25 7.) Tiny C+ 1.1 Links to all of the above would be nice. I would love to load a directory on my Ultimate Card filled with them.
  14. I have both versions of santos 5-in-1 carts and love them. I would love to see him create a new one with the final versions of the languages with all the fixes implemented.
  15. Kyle, if I am reading this right you got Carina up and running? Are you running real hardware or Altirra? Can I get whatever you have running as I have never gotten it working?
  16. Any chance of a version that makes the cart ports worked like a stackable so you don't end up with a tower of carts? I am in for two of these regardless.
  17. I am in Maryland and will pick it up this weekend if no one else can. Sent from my LG-V496 using Tapatalk
  18. The biggest issue with the lapdocks and using them for anything other than the Droid phones is the need for the cable to send DCC/CEC signal which the lapdock looks for. I will try the one you have with the project I am working on with a Raspberry Pi. Thanks.
  19. Can I ask what specific dongle you purchased? It seems to take a special one to get the HDMI to work or the screen shuts down after about 9 seconds.
  20. I am using my own SIO2USB cable the I created with an Inland FTDI board. Works perfect with RespeQT, reads and writes ATRs without issue. I guess I will just stay with MyCopier as it seems to support the U.S. Doubler natively.
  21. Yea, I ended up popping it open and checking. I has an ICD US Doubler in it from 1985. Thanks for the replies folks. Now, what is the best duplicator to use with the drive to make ATRs from floppies? I have been using MyCopier but I am wondering if there is something fast/better. T.E
  22. I am actually working on a similar project converting my collective floppy library into ATRs. I am using a custom SIO2USB cable I made with a 1050 connect to a 130xe. I am running RespeQT on my gaming laptop and MyCopr on the 130xe. I don't notice any pauses to write to the ATR, it reads the floppy and then writes the ATR. As for the Ultimate board...if it is in a dead machine but it is not dead itself hell yes move to to w working machine. Take advantage of any new hardware you may have available.
