I saw all the prequels in the theater. The only thing I did not like was that silly line about mediclorenes. I still don't like Return of the Jedi. There, I said it. We were all thinking it.

I saw TPM in the theater on opening day and I do not remember anyone saying that it was a good movie. I remember my wife and I looking at each other and going "meh". We never really liked it.

Oh - I've heard this many times and perhaps it's true for you.

All I know is I saw it twice in the theatre ... once with friends and once with a team meeting at work. In both cases, I was surrounded by Star Wars nuts who a) had already seen it; b) saw it after the times I saw it; and c) bought it the day it came out on home media.

They were hugely excited and kept going back.

Then later, it became fashionable to dislike and then they "forgot"...
