    I'm not going to watch that video Austin, but you're the king. I've never legit passed level 64 myself, so anyone breaking that barrier has got skills. Nice work. On the same note, I can beat level 64 on Defender 2000, but still haven't beat all 100. I'm up around level 80 there. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact I'll probably never finish either of these games, I mean after all these years of playing with no major breakthrough, and less time to play. Still fun fun fun anyway so I don't think about that too much.

    We went to Florida for a week during Christmas, and I brought the WIIu along. I played all the way through DK Country:TF during that time.

    I plan on buying a new Boiler (furnace) this year, and am considering having one of those big natural gas powered generators installed. I have the room in the basement, but I don't know if those can go inside  the house, I think they get hot. Anyone have experience with these? Generac and Briggs and Stratton make quite a few variants

    Mutant Penguins is great I think. It's part RTS and part puzzle game. The graphics remind me of TROG and Flip-Out, like claymation.

    It desperately needed a career mode like the Genesis' Super Hang-On to keep my attention. As-is, it is too vanilla.

    I discovered a scifi show last night called Other Space. Hilarious, but there's only 8 eps I guess. It has Lily the at&t babe as a main character.

      No question about it, that AT&T girl is incredibly pleasing to look at. She has one of the prettiest faces I've ever seen.

    Started my new years resolution of only buying games from the Atari Age Store in 2021. I pre-ordered Rebooted, Magical Fairy Force and Blaster (5200)

    I don't think they were ever pure white. I've had mine for well over 20 years and it's always been the same cream color. It's not made of plastic, so I doubt very much that the ball has faded. I wouldn't go by marketing pictures, because just like with food, marketing uses fakes/mock-ups to create perfect looking pictures.

    These are the ones I had. I had Airwolf, Bigfoot, Knight Rider, and this one for sure that I remember. It's too bad, there were certain game items that I kept around for a long time, and when I moved out on my own, some things just didn't make the cut. My handhelds just didn't hold my interest enough to keep them, unfortunately. Now, of course I wish I had them, I got a lot of good playtime out of these before I bought my Lynx. I remember the Knight Rider game being very good. It was kind of like Road Blasters really.

    I'm making a pledge right now. It is my intention to only purchase video games in 2021 from the AA store. Did you guys see that store update?

      HA! I was thinking the same. Will have to limit myself to 1-2 games per month, but... wow. Glorious. With my Xbox GPU subscription I'm set for modern games, anyway.

    Screw it. Pitfall is a damn tough game. It appears very simple, but requires pin point accuracy. I don't think I've ever completed all 20 minutes.

      Either can I. I've always had a hard time with the scorpion. Feel like you need to be pixel perfect

      I like Pitfall 3D on the Jaguar.   But that said original Pitfall was amazing and ground breaking.   Yeh, never finished it.  :P

      There is a map and solution to get all the points in under 20 minutes.  But it requires going the opposite direction I always used back in the day!  Right to left, instead of left to right.

      Sometimes once you admit you suck,  and just play for fun,  then the pressure is off and you become good!  I like to think of myself as just highly below average (hence No Pressure!)  ;)

    Well that's a new one. I just had an update downloaded to my Sony television remote control. I have no idea what it consisted of, and am only left questioning why a remote control needs an update.

    There's an effect on many arcade games when you score points, you'll get a small box with how many points you scored, let's say 3,000, and it'll be cycling a rainbow assortment of colors. I'm pretty sure Defender, Robotron, Joust, and Paperboy all have this effect. I'm having trouble finding a .gif to show you what I'm talking about. Jeff Minter used it to great effect in Llamatron and Revenge of the Mutant Camels as well. I would also like to add the 'starfield warp' effect found in Star Raiders, Battlesphere, Zero 5, and Tempest 2000. The graphical effect is impressive, but all these games add the outstanding sound effects that really give it a kicker.

    I think it was genuine, initially, but it turned into a troll with the dig at Wolfenstein 3D. The first game of its kind, a classic in every regard. If you want to feed the troll after that say: Do Computer Space next! Or, Do Super Mario Bros. next!

    Saving in the elevator is the only way to avoid ambush. Yeah, keeping the Jag on is technically the best route, but it seems very unhealthy for the Jag.
