Looks like Uber for chores. What's the $$ split like?

Well I'm still in the process of registering and the background check. I'm waiting to upload pictures tomorrow after I shave and stuff. It's only a fee of $2.99/month if you actually get work that month. TAKL takes a %5 fee if you do instant payment, but it looks like no fee if you do a standard payment (3 business days). Really not bad, it looks legit.

Guilty myself sometimes.  But a Topic is long and drawn out (potentially), where a Status just gets a few hits...And may get seen more than a blog...Just sayin

I post a status when it's something short and sweet.

If I had more to say about the topic than that at the moment I'd probably make a post in the Lynx forum. 

It's not just a negative comment on my part, sometimes status updates lately have been filled with good information. It's better if that stuff is archived in search through the forums.

TKK is actually an excellent film. The story is good, the writing is fresh, the acting & characters are enjoyable and the payoff is huge. Still enjoyable today.

I like how relatable it is for my generation. All the high school stuff in that movie is believable. The bullying, the poor kid taking out the rich girl, all the high school drama with the girls etc...

That's too funny.  I was with my wife in TN once a long while back and was too proud to not drive the pace the guy wanted me to establish.  I finally had to bail and explain to my wife that we needed to backtrack because I had lost my way a few miles back. 

They're certainly better than the stereotypical action figures, which may look nice on a shelf, but does anybody actually play with them?  At least video game cartridges can give you some amusement *and* serve as pretty shelf candy.

I've been programming them since 1985 and I still play games, just not the ones I work on, because I always have god mode and all weapons, with infinite ammo, etc.! 🤣

Vaping generally is kind of awesome compared to smoking. Still not great but just saying. (I don't vape nicotine...)

Vaping is a hell of a lot better than smoking real cigs. I quit smoking real cigs several years ago thanks to a "heat not burn" device.

Several times when I've considered eating at KFC, I have skipped it because afterwards I'll be somewhere without instant access to a bathroom, so to speak. Other fast food generally works for me, Kentuckyzuma's Revenge I'm not so sure about.

Both flavors stand out. I keep thinking, why the combo? I would be happy with a chili flavored peanut. The lime is just weird. I'm not sure where that combination came about, what does chili and lime have to do with eachother?

Probably because, even though it's set very modern, the style is throwback to when we loved watching action movies for the gratuitous violence alone.

Take even your most protracted combat set pieces, say the extended sequence in True Lies starting with the bathroom shootout, then the chase on horseback etc...take that and triple it, even quadruple the carnage and length of the sequence

That's what a John Wick movie is like. Mad Max Fury Road kind of touched on this idea where you make an entire movie one big action sequence. The cool thing about Wick is there is all this background and lore that trickles out through other characters and the idea of his 'legendary' status
