  1. Not a huge amount of confidence in a release anytime soon when you get this whilst going to the website.
  2. Forget the naysayers, I think it is amazing. Thank you again for all of your time and effort and I know I will enjoy AtariBlast for many years to come.
  3. I've made a Wine port of Altirra 2.80. Info is here : http://atariage.com/forums/topic/256928-altirra-28-wine-port-for-macos-sierra/
  4. With Atari800MacX not fully functional with macOS Sierra and with no guarantees that it ever will be, I decided to make a Wine port of Altirra 2.80. It seems to function just fine. The sound works, USB joysticks work, and the frame rate seems fine so I'm going to start to use it. I tried to attach the file here on AtariAge, but it is over the 50mb limit. I created a DropBox and placed it there: https://www.dropbox.com/s/melq181cczed2jr/altirra.zip?dl=0 Hopefully Phaeron is ok with that. If not, please let me know and I will take it down immediately. I hope this helps my fellow Mac users until a native solution appears. -Pete
  5. Mellis, I appreciate your efforts with this. I really like how simple Atari800MacX works and if you or others can keep it limping along I know many of us would be grateful. Thanks! -Pete
  6. Installed macOS Sierra GM tonight, and as DrVenkman wrote above the sound is still borked. I was hoping for a different result, but alas. I guess I'll need to install a Wine port of Altirra.
  7. Simply amazing! The speed is amazing and the graphics top notch. Thank you so very much for this!
  8. I wasn't even aware that Burger Time was available for the ST. Is it new?
  9. I never claimed they were shipping it. Just that they are going back into production. Sorry if I was misleading. I did not wish to confuse people.
  10. Just got an email saying Zaku was back in production! I bought one!
  11. 12. I'd get an STe. The easy RAM upgrades alone is worth it.
  13. Installed Public Beta 7 and enabling sound crashes Atari800MacX.
  14. Try disconnecting the hard drive and see if that makes a difference. I've had instances where my Falcon would not boot with a hard drive attached to the IDE bus.
  15. Downfall Falcon is the best! I had that running on my Falcon at VCF East in 2015 and it was very popular with attendees! Thanks GGN!
  16. Just installed Public Beta 6 and the incompatibility with Atari800MacX continues.
  17. ATR2DSK is done on the Atari. On an emulator make a new disk image. Copy the .atr to the disk image. Load ATR.COM from the ATR2DSK.atr via SIO2PC. Mount the disk image you created with the .atr you wish to make. Put a blank floppy in your drive and follow the instructions on the screen. Its pretty straight forward.
  18. I have a PR you can have if you want it. I haven't used it in years and have a couple of 850's so I'm not going to miss it.
  19. Hey, we got around to why I made this thread.
  20. I use ATR2DSK by Tom Hunt atr2disk.atr
  21. I am sorry I misinterpreted Josch's intent. Josch, I am sorry. That being said, I just installed Public Beta 5 and the sound issue continues. I sent Apple feedback on Beta 4 and have done so again for Beta 5.
  22. Your comment seemed a tad snarky about how public betas work and it seemed as if you were heading towards a lecture about using beta software in general. I really wanted to just provide people with the knowledge about the software no longer working. Threads have a way of heading off into crazy directions some times. I apologize for being brash. -Pete
  23. I send much feedback to Apple on bugs I have encountered. But typically I do not send feed back about bugs on no longer supported software. Maybe I am weird in that regard. I think you've taken this on a tangent. My point was only to inform other Mac users that Beta 4 and Atari800MacX were not functioning together. Going forward I'm just going to keep this information to myself. All others be damned.
