  1. The Worm Whomper isnt a bargain anymore But I still like it, also I wont spend much more.
  2. But its just a homebrew and I like to avoid this kind of profiteering. If the developer of the game sells it I am glad with it, but if just someone lines his pockets I dont like it. I mean serious, buying two or more copies, just planning to sell the overhang twice or treble as much as it costed originally... I wish there were endless waitlists, so that everyone can get the homebrews to a fair price everytime. Its a pitty that so many games just ended up as a quite unused venture. Maybe I'll buy some recent homebrews if they were ever listened to fair amounts on Ebay, maybe some get the honor of a second run, we'll see. But if every new run causes stuff like that: http://rover.ebay.co...&_dmd=1&_ipg=25 Its really sad that my hobby become that commercial, also in the homebrew-area. Homebrews keep old consoles, like the Intellivision, alive, they are not ment to get people richt just by reselling them
  3. Is that game really good? There is a chance to get one for 120€, but I am not so happy with buying a homebrew for the double of the worth.
  4. Today 14 games found there way in my collection. Some have greater damage, but they are all at least acceptable and of course CiB Here is a list what arrived: Nova Blast Safecracker Thunder Castle Tower of Doom Pac-Man Centipede Defender Masters of the Universe - The Power of He-Man Word Fun Sewer Sam Blockade Runner Super Pro Football Super Pro Decathlon Motocross Pictures of the games are here. New count: 77/125
  5. You have to look on every Ebay IP. My Super Cobra was just shown on Ebay.it, you could just find it on the other domains if you know the exact auction ID, which is impossible if you dont know the item. The last they I looked up for new listened games on Ebay. com, co.uk, fr, it and of course de. Its really lucky that ebay uses exactly the same layout everwhere, so I could manage to send PNs and find newly listened games also in foreign languages
  6. when all the games, which are currently on the way to me, arrive I am at 87, just 38 to go. Unfortunately I calculated that these 38 games will cost around 6000 - 7000 Dollars, whats about the fivefold I've already paid I did something wrong, the end seems very demotivating
  7. I dont know the competition to build something like that, but 150 seems to be very much. If its become that expensive I have to think about taking a cart again.
  8. My IntelliVoice: Model No: 3330 Serial No: 128376 Boxed with Manual My IntelliVision Consoles: Intellivision I Model No: 3999 Serial No: 26139 CiB Intellivision II Model No:5872 Serial No: P20234019 CiB, but at the moment broken
  9. Congrats. Where did you get the nice cases? Was it that site: http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/
  10. You are talking about the Worm Whomper which is about 25 Dollar right now? I am the highest bidder at the moment If I get Congo Bongo I'll maybe to broke to make serious offers, but I dont get Congo Bongo I surely will try it.
  11. I found some nice offers on Ebay, but the sellers wont sent outside the USA and I cant even writen them a PN, they blocked it automatically But maybe some of you US guys could use this links: Fathom (CiB): http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FRARE-Imagic-FATHOM-Intellivision-Original-Box-Cartridge-2-Overlays-%2F111035803775%3Fpt%3DVideo_Games_Games%26hash%3Ditem19da3fe87f Congo Bongo (both CiB): http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FRARE-Intellivision-Game-Congo-Bongo-Original-Box-Cartridge-Instructions-1983-%2F111034170962%3Fpt%3DVideo_Games_Games%26hash%3Ditem19da26fe52 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FIntellivision-CONGO-BONGO-Sega-game-%2F251248284723%3Fpt%3DVideo_Games_Games%26hash%3Ditem3a7f909433 (So please ignore the 250 Congo Bongo, because it hasnt a Reg-Cart, which is included in both auctions I found and its the only one which I can bid on ) River Raid (Cartridge + Manual - but I am not sure about the seller and if its really the INTV Version): http://www.amazon.co...TF8&me=&seller= And please keep the most important fact in mind: Do not bid on the 250 Dollar Congo Bongo
  12. Well, there was a VERY NICE BIN at the end of December: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FImagic-Fathom-Game-for-Intellivision-Extremely-Rare-UNOPENED-%2F261148366417%3Fpt%3DVideo_Games_Games%26hash%3Ditem3ccda7d651%26nma%3Dtrue%26si%3D0gKA1WIltr3EVREviUNX7lxY1dc%25253D%26orig_cvip%3Dtrue%26rt%3Dnc%26_trksid%3Dp2047675.l2557 There someone made a amazing deal, unfortunately it wasnt me Thank you for the responds to the price. If someone could confirm the poster-question too it would be great, but I am pretty sure there wasnt one
  13. And it completes my Imagic-Collection! Right now there are White Water, Dracula, Safecracker, Nova Blast and this one on the way to me and the rest is already here. I really love the silver colored boxes and so I am happy to have all of them Btw: I dont know if you can see it, but the final price was 160 Dollar. Of course the shiping to Germany is not cheap, it takes about 38 Dollar, because its insured, but I guess its nearly impossible to find such an item on german Ebay, so its something I have to deal with it. Therefor I could pick up Tutankham by myself some month ago
  14. I dont have patience -.- http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F140937397089%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1439.l2649 I cant even wait for the answer of cmart if this one was very overpriced, because I get paranoid if this game may get purchased by another buyer. So, after I paid the price: Was that a reasonable deal, or more a waste of money? I know it was no bargain, but I dont really need bargains, if the price is fair, its all I want. Edit: one additional question: There are some Imagic games which have a kind of poster in the middle of the manual. Is there a little poster in the manual of Fathom or not? I am really thankful if someone with a manual could check this for me.
  15. Well, I will also watch your Jag-Games, I just bought the Jag for homebrew games. But its really great that you bring some stuff to my favourite console too, thank you
  16. Sorry for the off topic, but I looked at your profile and found Apple Snaffle, Funbags and Mystery Castle. Do you release them all as a cartridge? Is Rocketeer the first one, or did I missed one of your games?
  17. Lets talk about the more interessting Ebay stuff: Who else is bidding on the Congo Bongo?
  18. Maybe you could add a picuture of Diner to this thread? I cant make a offer without seeing the game Greetings
  19. If you have a soldering bolt its not too hard to change the controllers on the Intellivison But Shark! Shark! also wont run? That breaks the neck of the Intellivision II, because its one of the best (maybe the best) multiplayer games on the system. I love that yellow fish
  20. I think you can open the shell withput breaking it. It seems that they are glued, I cant see if there is a screw. I dont know how it will look like, but maybe GroovyBee could use this shells to put his multicard in it? Just a assumption I just have one copy of DK, so I wont try to open my shell, maybe you are right and its impossible to open them. But there is another great way to use this cartridges. If you collect more, you can build something like that: A throne to play Intellivision Not comfy, but cool. Allow me the pun: A Throne of Games! (I watched seasons 1 and 2 of the series just a few days ago)
  21. Oh, I my oppinion there are some huge drawbacks. First of all: Its ugly. I know that some people really like this 80s look, but I dont like it, a Intellivision looks noble, a Intellivision II just looks cheap. Another disadvantage is the controller. Its good that they are removable, no question, but the buttons on the keypad are plain. The buttons on the first Intellivision controller are uplifted, so you could play by sliding from one button to the next, knowing that the 2 is beside the 1 and so on. On the Intellivision II there are no uplifted buttons, so you have to look or feel where your finger is to press the right one. Its much more complicated in my opinion and thats the only true thing mentioned by AVGN. And the last real disadvantage if the fact, that the Coleco games are not compatible to the Intellivision II. I know there are the CBS Versions, but its more difficult to get them.
  22. The Controller is just unfamiliar, not bad. In reality the controller is pretty good and there are games like Space Battle were the controller is brilliant. Just try it out yourself: Play the Intellivision Lives Collection on PS2 or Gamecube and after that play the original hardware, you sure will recognize that most of the are games are much better playable on the Intellivision # The only thing which I have to criticize is the disc, because its sometimes a bit to woolly, so that fast direction changings are a bit difficult. But the layout of the buttons is pretty good if you get familiar to the controller A little addition: I am talking about the Intellivision I controller, I dont like the Intellivision II controller... well I also dont like the Intellivision II
  23. But I cant see why "Schadenfreude" fits to your plan? You donate some carts + paying shipping. Also if its nearly worthless, the seller could sell them for 1 or 2 Dollars, I am sure he get some sales with that. Its not much, but its all free for him. If you dont know what to do with your carts go on making art Or I have another, much better idea: spend the cartridges to some of these amazing homebrewers, so they can will the worthless shell with more great games
  24. 2k for a broken cartridge... But to tell the truth: All the auctions of this seller reach damn high amounts, I am a bit sceptical. Thunder Castle and Tower of Doom Bundle for 170 and the Strategy Network for 72? I wonder why his offers reach nearly the double of the normal price.
