    In fact I am thinking the same, but I am too triggered to enjoy it :lol: Especially because of he double standards of guys like Rev and DZ. "Contact GB" - Yeah, it worked very well in the past. And also I am not sure: Whats their business here? Its not on them to decide of customers complain here or anywhere else. Everyone who is not refunded yet has the right to tell it here or PM and its not on the GB Defence Force to get them quite. If you think about it they have less business to do here than all the "trolls" and they also dont do anything for getting this thread calm, to the contrary they are heating the topic up as well for years now, blaming everyone else for it.

     

    So yeah, its pretty stunning, especially what DZ does.

     

     

    Edit: And to be honest: Its liberating to be not interessted in any homebrews anymore. No fear to get banned because you tell your opinion :D Some years ago I was a bit more diplomatic (even if I was never able to shup up if something fucks me up), but now: I really dont care anymore.

    To be honest: I am completely sick of this shitty behavior of Rev, DZ-Jay and all the others as well. Defending the biggest troll this board has ever seen and calling new members trolls is just disgusting. Of course I am a troll as well, because I am not kissing the ass of somebody who delivered nothing. God was I lucky what he forced me to get a refund a while ago, just look at loyal guys like Mike who wait for month. And thats the point: We are definitely not speaking about thousands of pre-orders and still its taking month over month. Yeah... sure :lol: (I guess he is just broke and has to gather the money, which is quite amazing if you think about it)

     

    Go ahead and eat my words alive, I couldnt care less. This topic has no topic and GroovyBee is just a bad joke, nothing else.

    5 buttons actually wouldnt work very well at all. Lets explain it with the PlayStation Pad in mind. In fact there are four buttons, gut most players use them as "rows". In pre-analog-stick racing games it is very obvious what I am talking about. You press the X button with the middle of the thumb, while the top end of your thumb is slightly lifted up, ready to brake if its time to do so. A 5th button would ruin the layout and you would press it by accident all the time.

     

    So no, the 4-button system is definitely not just because of the SNES controller. It just is proven to be good.

    I think that rather than cramming an all-in-one jack-of-all-trades controller into this hybrid machine, its best bet for Intellivision Entertainment would be to offer an Intellivision-like hand-controller for the classic games, and a modern-ish controller for the newer ones.

     

    Or the ultimate hybrid: The arcade stick :D Its impossible to do that, because it would be freakin expensive, but if you look at Grips Arcade Stick it works very well with classic and modern games. And lets face the truth: The new console wont be anywhere close to be a current gen console, so I dont expect AAA games for it. Just look at the new Atari VCS. And the new Intellivision has a much smaller fanbase, so I do not expect anything to be honest.

    So the HSC 9 has come to an and. Thanks to every participant, especially m-crew and jblenkle who were motivated in every single round and mr-intv, who was pretty insane in the last couple of rounds.

     

    As I said I dont have the time to make HSCs in the future and as some feedback had shown I am also not fitting in this role. So everyone may feel free to take this position.

    I think its good, but I guess it would be even better of you use the same design as the original box did. So no black controller, just white lines which show the outlines of it. I would also copy the angle of the pic, because its probably looking more interessting if its not just the view from the top.

     

    I attached a picture to show what angle I am talking about and of course: Its just my opinion and its not ment to disrespect your work or own ideas.

    Pretty amazing scores. I am too busy to find much time for playing, unfortunately, because unlike Popeye this game is pretty fun. So at least a small score with 16.416. I havent really figured out yet if its a better tactic to crash as many cars for the bonus or to get as far as you can, but I guess especially in the later stages the bonus will stack up pretty much.

    I dont agree. And its kind of disrespectful to call a 400$ offer for a game which was sold for 60 or something like that "lack of interest". Declining maybe, putting it on Ebay: Why not. But then start honest and tell from the beginning "not selling below".

    Thank you for the congrats! And of course special thanks to the guys who supported me on the way. I probably forget some people and who knows who of you sold me stuff on Ebay, so I apologize if I miss somebody right now. Special thanks to Scalpel, who sold me games and a keyboard-controller for very, very, very fair prices. And to cmart, who made a pretty awesome trade with me to get closer to the goal. Than I know for sure that I bought a game from Fushek, I think it was Body Slam? Mountain Madness was also from this board as far as I remember, but I forgot from who exactly. I also had a bigger deal for several games with William before our relationship went a bit sour. And Rev, who organized the sells for a not AA-member from who I bought LF I.

     

    I also wont forget the homebrews from several publishers and the Arcade-Sticks from Grips which I just noticed because of this board. Or the awesome goodies for some competitions from Rev (again) and Freewheel! In fact all of this kept me motivated.

     

    Go and submit and get elected into the Intellivision Revolution Hall of Fame! :)

     

    I will probably do that, but first I will take pictures of my hardware as well and a picture of the whole collection in the shelf. I also would like to add the special stuff, a few posters and some goodies to the linked thread. I have to see when I find the time for that.
