  1. Yeah if the strech goals are reached I might look for that Scarabeus puzzle game as well =)

I do'nt think you mentionned Motor City Patrol, tho? Maybe a less interesting game?

Motorcity Patrol was published by Matchbox everywhere, so not really a game we would want to make carts. Is not expensive 2nd hand either.

  2. Yeah game design and full rights were from Source Research and Developments. We bought Noah's Ark, Motor City Patrol and Scarabeus/Pyramids of Ra from them. They got a couple of other unreleased games but they haven't found the binaries.

Piko was starting to get shade over Konami having the rights. This clears it up for me. Different region - different rights holders.

Still mulling over the genesis Wisdom Tree collection cart :)

  3. Hey Guys!

We launched a Kickstarter for the World Wide Release of Noah's Ark for NES.

This will be released under Wisdom Tree!

Originally was published by Konami in PAL regions only. But we found the original developer with held on to the rights and we bought it off.

The game is a very good Shoot'em up; great addition to our catalog as we are slowly concentrating in Beat'em up and Shoot'em up games!

In addition, there are other rewards to choose from like Mega 3D Noah's Ark (Super 3D Noah's Ark for Genesis)

as well as the Wisdom Tree collection for GBA.

Here is the link for the ones that would like to pledge!

    Cheers!

I talked to these folks at E3 and they had a new box, similar to the Retro Bit Generations but carrying a different name. They were demoing the system using an old Game Boy title. The developer was there and he admitted to the problems with the original Retro Bit Generations. He also said the product was rushed, which is why he felt it had so many problems. Although I can't remember what he called the new product, he did say that Capcom, one of their working partners, had not yet agreed with them on a name.

Now I know one guy working a booth can't speak for the whole company, but he did tell me that he would love to give people who bought the original Retro Bit Generations the chance to exchange it for the new product. I don't know if that will happen, but if it does, I can respect them for standing by their customers.

Take it with a grain of salt.

The V2 version is hardware upgrade too. And Im not going to have games on it so I dropped interest.

Will do my own starting with 8bit hardware.

An ethernet connection and a dedicated app installed that let's me access GameGavel from the comfort of my own couch.

Actually you are not too far off a project im slowly working on lol, kind of scary that you brought this up. But more in the future and for another thread!

  6. I second the aspect ratio thing, especially on hdmi systems. If I can't play the games I'm pillarboxed 4:3, not only will I NOT buy your PnP, but I will steer anyone I know against it as well. Other options are fine, but it's OAR or nothing.

Wouldn't the TV options fix this? Just change the display settings (where Zoon, Cinematinc, Standard is?)

I can't think of a solution of Hardware based console that would have display ratio options.

  7. So what is your time frame?

Will take a while, the software developer I trust is a bit busy for the next couple of weeks. I think we'll re-do everything from scratch. I think we'll add a inventory management feature that feeds into ebay, amazon, and etsy, may be mercado libre CBT too. Dunno if offerup and let go have any API to feed listings, if they do we should be able to add them.
