Wait, so you guys now want the new site now? I dont really understand you
.But you are welcome of not using it, or use it. There are still members registering daily and sales every week. I dont see that as a bad sign.

Any news on this whole thing? It's been 3 weeks since I've read anything new on this.
It will be a long time before a a new beta is launched. It will be built from ground up =D.

Yeah if the strech goals are reached I might look for that Scarabeus puzzle game as well =)
I do'nt think you mentionned Motor City Patrol, tho? Maybe a less interesting game?
Motorcity Patrol was published by Matchbox everywhere, so not really a game we would want to make carts. Is not expensive 2nd hand either.
-
Yeah game design and full rights were from Source Research and Developments. We bought Noah's Ark, Motor City Patrol and Scarabeus/Pyramids of Ra from them. They got a couple of other unreleased games but they haven't found the binaries.
Piko was starting to get shade over Konami having the rights. This clears it up for me. Different region - different rights holders.
Still mulling over the genesis Wisdom Tree collection cart

-
Hey Guys!
We launched a Kickstarter for the World Wide Release of Noah's Ark for NES.
This will be released under Wisdom Tree!
Originally was published by Konami in PAL regions only. But we found the original developer with held on to the rights and we bought it off.
The game is a very good Shoot'em up; great addition to our catalog as we are slowly concentrating in Beat'em up and Shoot'em up games!
In addition, there are other rewards to choose from like Mega 3D Noah's Ark (Super 3D Noah's Ark for Genesis)
as well as the Wisdom Tree collection for GBA.
Here is the link for the ones that would like to pledge!

Heroquest has thirdparty licensing tied in so I passed on it. We didn't get Zool either.
-
Do you own the rights to any other Gremlin Graphics properties? I used to love Premier Manager 3 back in the day
We bought 5 different properties 6 games total. Full rights =D. Premier Manager is not there though.

I just can't.....$30 is my limit on these ST ports. If it was built from the ground up, maybe I'd do $60. I will say though that it does look far more interesting than Custodian.
Rights are pricey!
-
Oh By the way, Simon sent us some posters signed and we'll do give aways on fb and probably pic randoms orders to include it. We only got 5 though.

Was the coupon in the shipping box or was it sealed within the game?
It was a surprise so we threw some inside shipping box and some inside packaging.

Will this be available from telegames uk like Custodian or do we need to order direct?
I don't know, they haven't reached out to buy wholesale =D.
-
Now the "Custodian CIB with coupon" will be popping up on ebay in future years

Oh god I hope not!

So this is an Amiga port?
Yeah We try to choose the best aspects from all the ports available. Since Amiga had the better soundtrack we went with Amiga.
-
OK, I'll bite. I still had a $10 coupon buried in a drawer from Piko's previous release (Custodian), so that was an added bonus.
Don't forget this People! All of you that got Custodian!

All arcade or a mix of consoles and arcade? Also how is the emulation quality this time around? The last one left something to be desired...

All Arcade.

They unveiled the RetroCade today, 120+ Arcade games plug and play.

I talked to these folks at E3 and they had a new box, similar to the Retro Bit Generations but carrying a different name. They were demoing the system using an old Game Boy title. The developer was there and he admitted to the problems with the original Retro Bit Generations. He also said the product was rushed, which is why he felt it had so many problems. Although I can't remember what he called the new product, he did say that Capcom, one of their working partners, had not yet agreed with them on a name.
Now I know one guy working a booth can't speak for the whole company, but he did tell me that he would love to give people who bought the original Retro Bit Generations the chance to exchange it for the new product. I don't know if that will happen, but if it does, I can respect them for standing by their customers.
Take it with a grain of salt.
The V2 version is hardware upgrade too. And Im not going to have games on it so I dropped interest.
Will do my own starting with 8bit hardware.

A message from the Libretro devs to anybody interested in these FPGA-based game/retro game consoles...

Actually you are not too far off a project im slowly working on lol, kind of scary that you brought this up. But more in the future and for another thread! An ethernet connection and a dedicated app installed that let's me access GameGavel from the comfort of my own couch.

I second the aspect ratio thing, especially on hdmi systems. If I can't play the games I'm pillarboxed 4:3, not only will I NOT buy your PnP, but I will steer anyone I know against it as well. Other options are fine, but it's OAR or nothing.
Wouldn't the TV options fix this? Just change the display settings (where Zoon, Cinematinc, Standard is?)
I can't think of a solution of Hardware based console that would have display ratio options.

So what is your time frame?
Will take a while, the software developer I trust is a bit busy for the next couple of weeks. I think we'll re-do everything from scratch. I think we'll add a inventory management feature that feeds into ebay, amazon, and etsy, may be mercado libre CBT too. Dunno if offerup and let go have any API to feed listings, if they do we should be able to add them.

Yeah I think quality games with specific characters that are popular in key regions (Japan, North America, and Europe). And definitely HDMI.
