  1. I got a sample of the V2 model; VArth works vertical now.
  2. They have fixed everything or mostly everything. the revision I played will play snes at correct speeds, and genesis works very well. I didn't noticed any missing or weird music on NES, and GBs didn't have much of a problem. But I've been told they are moving in another direction in terms of content. They won't even support those platforms it seems. So I think I can do a couple of good PnPs my self with new/other content. But I want to start hardware based with HDMI upscaler (kind of like the new Retron)
  3. The only problem I saw with the Generations (besides the emulator) is that it had no face mascot. Megaman, Ryu, Ken, Bison, Someone! It had Son Son, the Ghouls N Goblins guy and Captain Commando. And to appeal the mass market is going to be difficult with those faces. I think one key aspect has to be a popular and familiar face; even Bubsy would do it as it is a known character.
  4. Can you give more detail on what do you mean price competitive with emulation? Expandable storage you mean SD or cart slot?
  5. So, I have been wondering what gives value to a plug and play? What are the features or games that would make go "This is a nice deal for 50 bucks; Let me recommend it to my neighbor for his kids" Both as a hardcore retro gamer and general consumer. What do you think would be the features that have been overlooked by Retrobit, Atgames and Nintendo for their plug and plays?
  6. Remember Atgames have close relationship with Sega, so may be they got it from them.
  7. They will be at E3 on Indicade booth though, I sent two of my games they wanted to display there. Pj Gumball Hero and Iron Commando.
  8. I dunno about the handheld; I dont know if they will show on the E3 either. I hope they announce everything soon lol.
  9. Choplifter games and trademark are owned by InXlie, previous owner and founder of interplay.
  10. Research and asking people that worked on the projects, if they are alive.
  11. Yeah dangerous thing to do if you dont have the copyright owner permission/license to use.
  12. I implored them that if they were going with genesis style ( i would prefered snes) was the bigger version of the genesis one; but they went with the tiny one. Im not a fan.
  13. Yeah this happens with any game or port when a company folds or exchanges hands.
  14. I know for sure they have the snes timing issues fixed, which was #1 problem. Dont know when they release the new firmware to the public. Dunno about genesis frame rate. That is for generations, if they do a new one they will upgrade the processing power. But I dont know about this.
  15. This case reminds me more to the NOA VS Tengen...Unethical methods to acquire something of value.
  16. I doubt very much they own BOB lol. It is made by Gray Matter guys; but probably they thought they could use it anyways.
  17. Ive offered my games as we have slowly acquired games that were officially released for the genesis like Gadget Twins, the humans, battle squadron, sword of sodan, and working on more. But last time Ive heard PK said he has already too many game licenses lol.
  18. Yeah that's what I thought, the mini games they normally include. UI is very good btw, they are stepping up their game.
  19. I'm talking about Genesis though, It says Homebrew Games on the Genesis.
  20. The Atgames hd teaser video showed a category with homebrewe games. I wonder who's they licensed or if those are their normall additional minigames they throw in. I've been told that there may be a fix on the way to fix the snes timing issues on generations. I guess generations should have been a holidays 2017 product instead of 2016.
  21. Ive suggested enough already and posted publicly for a while; nobody has taken my "Classicade" name for a console
  22. .... Any ways, would you mind sharing who is putting out thay qbet mini arcade?
  23. It is probably the biggest one in Texas, it is not bad but not great as it is mostly a front for the owner's stores. Like the Stores he owns has a bunch of booths. Pricing is reasonable for vendors if you reserve with time. I skipped last year because they made some demeaning public statements towards another really good convention in Oklahoma (bitcon) But it seems like they have changed their marketing strategy since then. Over all, it is well organized.
