    I hope you have done your market research here -- in Canada, at least, religious bookstores are steadily closing. A major Canadian chain of some 6 to 8 stores went bankrupt in January, and many of the small, independents are struggling. I live in a municipality of 1 M+ people, and there are no such shops renaming. Ten years ago, there were about 5.

     

    I have no idea how these types of stores are faring in the United States (much less Europe), but make sure that there is a customer base in place before you commit to producing too many units.

     

    In our Region (We are in Texas) There is a Mega Church on every corner, most of them have their own store and a big majority an actual school. It really depends on the region you live in.

     

    But yeah I understand that in some places they are closing down.

    hey Guys! PNP is mostly to enter again the world of Christian Stores/Library. NES and Genesis carts is to cater to the long time fans and retro gamers.

     

    So we tried to not forget about anyone =D

The quality of the controller is better than Yobo, more like Retro bit clone consoles =D. Also about the 30 dollar price, remember 10% goes to KS (3 bucks) and then shipping, shipping supplies, and handling so that adds another 6 bucks or so. In reality the Super Early bird backers are getting it for like 20 bucks.

     

    As for NA thread, if you don't may know, NA hates, bans and slanders anyone that is not following their agenda, steps on their tows, doesn't keep the best interest of their (mafia) inner circle, or brings "radical" (more like reason and logic) ideas to their forum.

     

    I can't feel more sorry for the competitors of ours on that thread that need to spread rumors and talk bad about another company to make their self relevant. All I think is this.

    Understood. Would changing the color of the plastic also increase costs considerably?

     

    I just think that, for some, having the unit look less like a generic NES controller and more representative of the Wisdom Tree games (via color scheme, etc.) might make it a little more desirable.

     

    Nah, I dont think so, I am thinking we might be able to do (I forgot the name) stickers for your controller, themes with the games' art Skin. Like these: il_570xN.797905196_mcug.jpg

    Why are the stretch goals unrelated to the product per se but to SNA3D on other platforms (Dreamcast etc...)?

    Are you funding this "plug and pray" or are you funding SNA3D?

     

    Wanted to save it up if we are reaching those numbers, but if we get that much we would scratch NOAC and go with GOAC and add SNA3D to the PNP along with a Genesis Cart.

     

    But we'll see if we get there.

     

    Thats why they are stretch goals and not main goals, and thats why they are far off the original goal.

    If I didn't know that Wisdom Tree made Super Noah's Ark 3D available on Steam, I'd though this is a joke.

    But.... You are serious, are you?

     

    It's soo silly I'm in!

     

    The game came out last year on Steam and does very well! it was made with a lot of effort into an HD Remake and a lot of people enjoy it!

     

    If you like oldschool first person shooters, you should give it a try!

    Hello!

     

    We just launched a Kickstarter for a Wisdom Tree Plug and Play.

     

    The device will be called the Arkade and will feature all the 8 bit Wisdom Tree titles inside a Plug and Play controller.

     

    We are also adding rewards like NES Multicarts, Sega Genesis Multicarts, and PC physical releases.

    I would trade a Jag and Jag CD for a turbo duo (NTSC),a neo geo AES (NTSC), or a brick of gold bullion.

    I need a console to start testing a game we plan to release soon, along with developing a new PCB =D. I was hoping I could trade something for the Console rather than having to go to ebay to buy one.

     

    If anybody has one spare (as long as it turns on an play) that wants to trade, please Pm me.

    Well you guys got to understand that this product is not for the hardcore gamer. You guys probably already own all these titles whether in their console ports or an arcade here and there.

     

    This is out to compete with th atgames cluster**** that is out there with the same 37 genesis games since like 2010.

     

    Is for the causual gamer that recalls playing some of these retro titles.

     

    Retro bit probably had other stuff in the pipes for the hardcore gamer like hdmi multi cartridge console or something ( I dont know).

     

    Also, I am going to make sure to press them enough for these to not hit the clearance isle at all. (Not over sell massive amounts) clearance isles only damage the value of the Ips.
