Thanks for the response, Keatah. I'm just now returning to the EMU scene after 10+ years away. What I don't get is why Dan Borris' 5200 emulator from 15 years ago is better than the ones today. Or am I wrong? Maybe i have it configured wrong etc.

What's everyone's opinion on the MESS emulator? I'm having a heck of a time getting games to run properly on it. Some run, other don't and sometimes the graphics are scrambled.

I was recently cleaning out my basement and remembered i have tons of 5200 games, many of which are still shrink wrapped. I didn't want to come here to sell as I thought perhaps that was bad etiquette or just downright against the forum rules.

Oh hey! been a long time since i read these forums! Threes Company was a show back in the 70's I used to enjoy. Since I had found memories of both the show and playing Atari, I came up with Regal Beagle. Yes, it was the bar.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Paranoid, to answer your question about collecting or playing? Both. I used to be a huge collector for the 5200. I still have tons of 5200 games, many still shrink wrapped. However, I have just recently rediscovered my old hobby. I'm really interested in these ported games and proto's that were never available before. Classics, I think it was you who just sent me the Gateway to Apshai game the other week. Thanks a ton! My brother and I relived our childhood last friday night with that cart. Was one of our favorites as kids. What was the deal with this DK cart? Was it only available for limited time via AA and now they are all gone? Thanks again all.

I was contemplating writing a new version of Regal Beagle if there is any interest. RB is a front end, graphical interface for Dan Borris' 5200 and 7800 emulator. Should i skip it or would anyone be interested?
