How can you tell if a blonde has been using your computer? There's Liquid Paper all over the screen!

Whoa! A blast from the past I saw today. A Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vista. Anybody remember this car?
-
I used to own a 1980 gold colored Dodge Colt Hatchback. It had a 1.6L Mitsubishi engine, a Mikuni carburetor and freaking points. (Like the example below). The thing HATED any alcohol in the gas and that promptly ate the varnish off the foam float, so it sunk like a rock and blew out smoke like Cheech & Chong until I repaired it... multiple times, the wife would NEVER listen and kept putting cheap Arco gas in it.

Well that's a new one. I just had an update downloaded to my Sony television remote control. I have no idea what it consisted of, and am only left questioning why a remote control needs an update.

Did you know anyone that owned a TRS-80 Model 100, 102, or 200 back in the day? What did they think about it?
-
The Model 100 was neat back in the day, but it's 40 X 8 non backlit display was a little limiting. I had a "cousin" of the Model 100 which was an NEC PC8201A which I preferred. However, these days so many years on, would not recommend one because the Radio Shack model has much more available for it.

Just curious, how many of you are willing to spend 5 times or more the retail price of something that has only been out of print for a relatively short time (maybe a year or two)? It seems like the minute something goes out of print now, it immediately jumps at least to 2 or 3 times the retail price. Am I in the minority in that I refuse to pay that kind of markup on newer items?

Did any other Rock bands follow the Heart model, which was hard rock in the 70s, the successfully transition to light songs in the 80s?

You say you want my stuff, "on the cloud"? You say you want to charge me monthly for "my own stuff"? Well, I say, "Stick it!". What's mine, stays mine, and on my machines. You can try to make money off of me some other way.

Happy 50th!

Hate is such a strong word, but when it comes down to brass tacks, there is only one thing I truly hate in this world... VAPORWARE.

Have you played Atari today?

Deciding 20+ years ago to get into emulation has proved to be the right choice 10x over and over again. Never has vintage computing and gaming been so fulfilling.

Anybody know of any backlight (or even frontlight) mods for the TRS-80 Model 100?
-
I've never seen one. BITD that is the reason I got rid of my NEC PC8201 which was like a Model 100.. I could not use it in the dark.
Your best option might be something like <<THIS>>.

They found a way to blame videogames and mental health issues for those recent "mass" shootings. I think even the prez said so himself.
Maybe there's something to that because GameStop is the only store in the nearby town that has bars on the windows.

Man, I've been on prolific music streak.

we're only allowed so many heartbeats per lifetime. I'm screwed... how's by you?

Since obtaining my ham license, I've made exactly zero contacts. Though I have managed to buy two radios and tons of accessories--which is really the whole point anyway, amirite?

Yellow corn tortilla chips, or White?
