  1. Which image do do you see best with the glasses on?
  2. I found out that my left eye is dominant today. I did a reverse on the red one (as in two opposing images) only to see the right hand object when viewing it.
  3. Maybe someone was trying to see if they could get a clearer display by removing the RF modulator to get a composite signal? The thinking would not be out of the realm of possible, for example the TI-99/4A puts out a native composite signal, it's only after people use the included RF modulator the image turns to garbage.
  4. In an attempt to make a 3D anaglyph image of your photo I got an unexpected result...
  5. Honestly I've not checked yet, as it's still on my list of things to do, but I'm going to have to move GEM out of my FG99's root menu and pop it into another directory as it really clutters up the opening screen. With any luck things will still work as expected.
  6. Yeah, along with the classic stuff this time, I also have to deal with MicroShaftTM as they did an "automatic update" sometime in the last month that effed up my printing ability. I was able to print on both sides of the paper automatically to make manuals, after the update... nooooooo. So now, when I can find the time, between everything else I need to do, I have to go in and remove every vestige of my printer driver and reinstall from scratch. So I'll just have to live with it until sometime in January, so yes, it's everywhere.
  7. I simply cannot keep up with the all the new developments with every project going on. With work, family, chores and other projects, I cannot follow them all at the same time, let alone keep up with. Today I found some time to "upgrade" one of my favorites, only to find that after the new version was installed, it seems nothing I have works with it. Since I simply don't have the time to figure it all out or mess around with re-learning everything from scratch, or to re-configure everything, I admit defeat. It's a hobby, not a chore, so with this in mind, for the first time in my life, I'm going back to the older version that "ALREADY WORKS FOR ME". I should have paid attention to the old motto, "If it ain't broke, don't upgrade it!"
  8. The Canon T7i, is << listed as one of the four best >> for astrophotography and will let you use your cellphone to see what the camera sees and to take photos. I've found it invaluable for taking photos when any camera shake of long distance items, especially when I have the telephoto lens on could ruin an image.
  9. Ooooh, nice shiny Christmas looking protective bags!
  10. I dunno, dwelling on the past or negative topics does not seem very entertaining or useful. Just my opinion.
  11. No the 32K of RAM needs to be connected to the TI to run 32K programs. Yes you can save downloadable programs on it"s SD card, but for the most part it is not designed to be used as a disk drive. Yes you can get Extended BASIC for it.
  12. Oh, @Airshack I forgot to mention, the PLCC32 programming sockets that come with the starter kits are crap, you'll need to get a ZIF socket like the one pictured below, so if you go this route, ask Ksarul where he got his, I think he originally turned me on to it, but I've forgotten where I ordered it from.
  13. @Airshack Per your request sir! First, the program you requested to join the programs was originally posted by @arcadeshopper in message # 9, but the software link is << HERE >>. Second, the link to a MiniPro starter kit is: << HERE >> The burning software comes with the MiniPRO on a mini CD. Third, send @Ksarul a PM, if he has any he'll probably send you some. Please don't hog them all though 😜 I have every intention of trying to get a couple more later!
  14. Was the original only 1 megabyte? That does not seem right. I'm assuming that you shoot in JPG and not RAW. Yeah, considering the distance involved, even with the curvature I would not expect enough variation in the focus area. Out of curiosity though, how many images did you use? Five or nine?
  15. Well it's not like you think, 32K on the TI is still required, just consider it a faster loading method than disk.
  16. @mizapf I really like your image, but for on screen purposes I decided to lower the resolution, sharpen the image, increase the contrast and make the background transparent.
  17. I think I might have to print that one up!
  18. I agree, there is no right and wrong way. It's different strokes for different folks,. People are in this hobby for different personal reasons and we all have our opinions on how we want to enjoy our hobby. I love having an ever increasing amount choices and options. Now me, I would not mind the TI being even more PC-like... when I want it to be that way. Truth is, I use Force Command A LOT OF THE TIME , but there are other times I simply want to play a game or two, so I use the FinalGROM for that. Lately I've even been reverting back to the UberGROM for individual games. Heck, sometimes I'll use one TI, and another time I use the another. It all depends on my mood at the time. But GAWD, the way Force Command brings it all together is bloody wonderful! One of my goals is to get the TI to do as much stuff as possible and actually be able to get by a day or two WITHOUT turning on the PC. Force Command working with the FinalGROM, the F18A and T80XB is bringing that reality closer month by month. I even envision a day when it might be possible to use a text based browser on the World Wide Web like Lynx with a combination of the FinalGROM, F18A or it's future successor and the SAMS card and TIPI.
  19. Woo Hoo! More UberGROM boards on the way... I'll be burning again soon!
  20. This is just getting tiring now. Good thing I'm not a moderator, I'd lock this thread, instead I'll click on ignore. Later.
