It used to be...
... now days, most of those companies that put software on floppies are out of business, so no longer sell or maintain the software. And if you don't copy the old media, you'll lose the program and/or data to bit rot, mold or some other malady so..
go ahead and ...
or you'll regret it later!

Those covers are not simply for viewing in this flick....

Thanks @Airshack! I've added it to the repository under "Newer Homebrews & Ports".

Damn, I was a little late to the party on this game, but it's fast paced and great. A definite keeper! Good job!

When is the cartridge .BIN going to be released?

With high definition or even 4K TV's and monster sized screens that kind of stuff will be much harder to get away with from now on. At least they can use their imagination and 3D print something original now days.

My UberGROM version of Tutankham has NEVER failed on any of my TI's. I was actually surprised to hear it was an issue. When I tested for failure I used the FinalGROM as most people tend to use that cartridge these days.

Tursi wrote a screen capture utility a few years back, so 1/2 the job is done, but it requires load interrupt capability. If it's compatible with the program, capturing the image would be possible, the only thing... it saves to a file, it may take a lot of effort to change over to printer format.

... other than give everyone your IP and ISP, unless you are using a VPN, which is something the TI does not support.

IIRC IRC is not very safe, which is why most people abandoned it.

.... speaking of which, it's perfect for an old smartphone...
(I'll be monitoring).

Huh? Really? I'll have to go check that out. I thought it was public.
** EDIT **
Nope, it's public...

Well, there is always the TI99 channel using the ZELLO PTT APP in the Google Play Store if you don't want to re-invent a more private solution.
-
Always being on for listening would, I think increase activity.

It's cool to see that Greg has a few copies of Escape North Korea game for sale in cartridge form << HERE >>.

When activated the game says, “What’s that?” Via the voice synth.
How long do you think it'll take for someone to find it? 😁

Naw, if anything it might increase activity here. First I doubt the majority would be interested in this project, but those that do would be able to talk freely and discuss things at a different level. Stuff talked about would probably migrate back here.

Yes, the 512K versions work in the FinalGROM, BUT if someone wants to burn a 49F040 chip for an UberGROM, the image has to be 512K for it to work properly. The game is kind of neat, so I figured a couple of people might want to burn a dedicated cartridge from an easily downloadable image suitable for the task.
