Here's the link to the original design. Mine is not one worth sharing.

He really did a bang-up job with his design.
Man that does look good! Printed in black, with a black drive inserted it, that would be, "oooh yeah!"
Thanks for the heads up on the design.

I would definitely link to it from here...

I've not seen hide nor hair of Mr. Warner online in years. I think he abandoned the project due to some incompatibility with the Geneve, although the prototype worked just fine on a regular TI. I also think there were layoffs where he worked, IIRC he got married, and then life took him down another path. Now, you will have to confirm this with @Ksarul but I seem to remember him getting his hands on one of the prototypes. So, if anyone could revive this project it could be him (if there is enough interest), but with things not yet made, the wait could be longer than what you want.
Now if you are willing to wait almost as long, the CorComp Triple Tech Card is one solution, but those suckers are rare. It took me over a year before I was able to obtain one one.

Honestly, I think many people now days confuse ignorance with stupidity. Ignorance is simply the lack of knowledge, and I guarantee EVERYONE is ignorant about something, but that does not make them stupid. Only the arrogant and others like those with personality disorders look down on others due to their perceived superiority or inflated self-worth. I agree condescension and dismissiveness adds nothing positive to the mix, other than allowing others to learn more about the personality/nature of those exhibiting the anti-social behaviors.

Before the Gotek became an option I went the Lotharek route, but since TIPI has arrived on the scene, I now use the floppy emulator less than 1% of the time. If you don't already have a TIPI, but are trying to keep expenses as low as possible, I'd suggest a TIPI/32K with a Raspberry Pi ZERO W. You'll get << the best bang for the buck >> (my opinion) for the TI than any other option available.
Regarding your question on the drives, the Lotharek will act as DSK1 & DSK2 at the same time. In my case, (pre-TIPI) I was using DSK1 & DSK2 in one slot, with DSK3 as an external, the other half-height space in the P-Box was used for a homemade project.

(made with tricolor LEDs)
That's an interesting suggestion, unfortunately not one I personally have a use for. Now Greg, he might as he does exhibitions and sets up multiple TI systems. The control logic and method of controlling it would be fun to follow though.

The old P-Box kits would melt as well if you wanted them to as well, which made it easier to mount knobs and switches. Anyway they should be fine if you only solder the wires and leads.

The whole thing is printed in PLA.

Done! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Oh, about that manual I posted in << Message #64 >>for the three transistor shortwave radio project... you may get a kick out of this original magazine review from...
52 years ago! I found it entertaining.

... while it's not big enough for your project, I believe it's big enough as a platform to recreate Vorticon's microcomputer trainer...

AtariAge does not have the proper feedback emoticon under the like button, so I had to search online to find an facial expression to post as a reaction to that apparent rats nest of wires...

I have considered something "similar" as a 3D printer project, for board prototyping. Grid pattern on one side, subtly done "channels" to run bus-wires through on the back.
I'll inquire about the composition and get back to you. I will tell you this though, I've seen some really low-quality 3D printed crap in my day... AND THIS AIN'T THAT!
His attention to detail is amazing and the quality is so good really I'm blown away. Whatever projects people build, they'll be suitable for displaying with pride afterwards. It's obvious looking at and holding the parts he's experienced to the level of expert when it comes to design & implementation.

Woo Hoo! The package arrived today! Now I need to find a COUPLE of suitable and fun projects. The "classic sized" one is cute, and I'll use it, but the "modern deluxe" one is great too! Decisions, decisions! Anyway, here is the video as promised.

COREi64.COM makes a fantastic one that is available << HERE >>, he's in Canada though. Also @arcadeshopper might have some left too.

I wasn't exactly sure where to put this, but it's my entire existence with the TI distilled down to 60 seconds.
My apologies for the rough editing work, I slapped it together quickly.

Sort of like a mouse...

Ya know, I believe the time is actually right for a mouse interface for the 5200!
1) There are some games that a mouse would work well.
2) Not everyone has the real estate for a huge trackball.
3) Not everyone can afford those ridiculous Ebay prices.

Oh wow, cool concept. I have two TIPI's myself and think it would be so cool if they could sync all files between each other automatically... except those starting with a specific character.

I have the UberGROM version as well, but I've never had mine screw up in a bare console, a 32K system or the 1024K system. Maybe I've never played it long enough?
