  1. Thanks, but if I sold them separately, I would take forever and I'd be giving them away as a flat rate mailer is $8.30 + $3.55 extra for certified, or $11.85. Plus all the extra trips to the post offices, so individually is not worth it to me. I lowered what I originally thought to $135.00. I'm still taking a loss, but it's at least worth the time this way to send them to a good home.
  2. Regretfully, the time in my life has come to downsize... All carts are working and in decent appearance (as shown in the photos below). I'm only asking $135.00/FIRM and postage is included in the price. (Sorry, lower 48 states only) The carts will arrive via the USPS flat rate box with the contents in bubble wrap. I'm taking a loss, but I have to get rid of stuff. PayPal only. If you are interested, please send me a PM.
  3. If you are taking part in this poll, you must have an Atarimax, but what do you have on it? Is the thing loaded to the max with everything known to humankind? Is it moderately filled with items or just the games you like to play?
  4. I only have one Atari unit in my lineup, which I will always keep, but downsizing is sadly in my future. Getting rid of all except two cartridges will make this unit look lonely.
  5. If your modern PC could run one program at a time, like a classic computer...

On a tablet you can still keep one program open/paused while you do something else, like copy text to paste into a document.

True, but really you're only looking at or using one thing at a time, even if a bunch of programs are running in the background (or sleeping).  I bet my iPhone has 40 programs running at the same time all the time.  Heck, I bet iOS itself is 40 separate programs.  IIRC there was copy-paste functionality between some DOS programs at some point, but of course pretty limited compared to what we have now.

Not saying I'd want to return to those days... although some aspects are appealing... ;)

  6. So many views and not a single reply. I guess that would be understandable if I was some anonymous joker off the street who had never posted a message on AtariAge before, but I've been here for years. I thought at least one expert here would let me know if the price was fair or out of line. TI-99/4A stuff is my ballpark, I'm not to with it on Atari 5200 stuff.
  7. I'm in the process of "downsizing" and need to get rid of some stuff. Since I have an Atarimax, I really don't need these cartridges. The thing is, I want to sell them all at once so I don't have to screw around making multiple trips giving most of the money to the post office. I know I'll never get out of them what I paid for them, but I need to know, what's a fair price? I'm thinking $8.00 a cartridge sounds fair, so, $136.00+$20.00 for shipping and round down to an even number say, $150.00. Is that out of line? CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE VIEW
  8. BTW - I'm still soliciting product ideas for the catalog, real or imagined. If they are imagined, you'll have to include description and photoshop image.
  9. I don't remember Nomad having an LCD display.
  10. I think I'll add Zero Zap to the 'modern catalog' I've been working on in my spare time. As a joke, it'll be the highest priced item listed, how does $199.95 sound?
  11. If anyone is planning on designing a similar board that is not "questionable" on trace size or regulation, and will work with the MeanWell power supply, I have one request... a 5v power tap so if the user chooses, they can connect a USB power port. Why? Because it this day and age USB power plugged devices are ubiquitous and having a port on the TI itself could be very useful in the future, if not now. (For example a VGA to HDMI converter)
  12. Sold three TI-99/4A Atarisoft cartridges to @TeddyBear89. He paid very promptly, excellent communication and pleasant to deal with. I give him: 5 out of 5! 👍👍👍👍👍
  13. Bailey of course. She was not stuck up, or full of herself and she was down to Earth and much lower maintenance.
  14. Time to start downsizing... I have three cartridges, Pole Position, Moon Patrol and Donkey Kong that come as a trio. Shipping will be USPS flat rate box with bubble wrap. Asking price (shipping included) is $40.00 because shipping prices suck, so my I'm actually taking a loss on what I paid for the cartridges, but I don't need them anymore. This is a photo of the cartridges. P.M. me if interested, price firm. Due to work, the earliest I can ship will be Tuesday afternoon. Paypal only. Update: SOLD
  15. This will not be a "downloadable" for 3D printers when it's finished. It'll be a "greenback obtainable" item. In the meantime, here are a few P-Box links you might find entertaining... A "Hackaday Project", a few scans of << some original kits >> and a RPi with some discrete components. And if that was not enough to get you excited, maybe a webpage with 101 ideas/projects.
  16. ... but I've heard real programmers use machine code... ... not confusing things like... ...but me, what the heck do I know, I'm just a lowly... ... and I can't wrap my head around ...

  18. Hey Vorticon, since you are into these kinds of projects, you might be interested in learning a modernization of the old Radio Shack P-Box kits is in the works that will have support for things like Raspberry PI's. You'll be able to cobble together permanent or semi-permanent projects for use or display. There are LOTS of things that can be done with Raspberry Pi's and some additional circuitry!
  19. I finally got around to converting @blackbox's awesome scans of the Electrical Engineering and Math Library manuals into PDF's for those that want to use them in that format. Again, thank you so much @blackbox for devoting so much time and effort into scanning and cleaning these manuals for us. Electrical Engineering Library.pdf Math Routine LIbrary.pdf
  20. I'm starting to get a tingle up my spine like the the end is within 6 months. I hope my hunch is right...

  22. Excellent post! YES, new from MDUDE with a reference card too included! If I didn't already one, I'd scarf one myself! That other guy is well, just plain nuts (IMHO). For less that $181.00 you could buy a FinalGROM and premium case from any number of users here and have money left over for other TI toys. And once you got the FinalGROM, assuming you wanted to use regular TI Extended BASIC... TI-Extended BASIC Reference Card.pdf TI Extended Basic - Linked.pdf TI Extended BASIC.zip
