  1. Wow! This is awesome! I will order one soon!!
  2. I'm a definite fan of this game. Great name, awesome artwork and a solid supercharger game!
  3. I would really consider the Flash Gordon cart to be a movie tie-in game and not a cartoon tie-in based on the artwork from the 1980 movie being used etc. But obviously there have been Flash Gordon cartoons and comics. (Alex Raymond rules!)
  4. Bugs I like but I can't see how anyone could enjoy Ssnake. Ssnake is not a paddle game and once you figure out how to avoid the Snake in the game you can just keep playing it forever without being killed. You just keep moving in the same circular pattern. Seems pointless. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong here. I tried to check out the manual but the link doesn't work. (Perhaps a casualty of the server move?) So moral of the story, get Bugs if you like paddle games and aren't easily frustrated, but it is definitely wise to avoid Data Age games in general. At least if you plan on playing the games in your collection.
  5. No need to feel guilty about Circus Atari! That is a great game. I like most of the paddle games really, which includes my guilty pleasure: Bugs.
  6. Congrats to PDF! I thought your labels were some of the best. DaveD thanks for the kind words!! I painted this with acrylics. I really like the look of the old Atari labels with hand-done/painted artwork. I'm glad you could see that was what I was going for.
  7. The atariage store rules! My girlfriend ordered Synthcart for me on Labor Day and we had it by Thursday! Amazing.
  8. Ah. I just got through reading the old forums. Now I actually understand what all of this was about. Hmm....

He also puts rare games and even unrealased prototype roms onto carts. Is there a less shady person doing this kind of thing? I'd really like to be able to play some of the prototype games on my actual 2600 rather than via emulation. Besides the Atariage store are there other reputable dealers selling a lot of the homebrew games?

  11. Ok I guess I will just type out some stuff from the disk if it's helpful. I was thinking that there might be an easier way to upload something but here goes: Homebrews: Boing 2600 Colours Cubis Elk Attack HVCD Kamikaze Lord of the Rings Minesweeper Mondo Pong Multihoser Okie Dokie Happy Birthday Patrick Rime of the Ancient Mariner Tazer Jims Heart Alfred Challenge Allia Quest Merlin's Walls Pesco Power Off Tetris 26 Yahtzee Logo Demo Hozer Promo
  12. Yeah, apparently. They are on a catalog disc marked Summer/Fall 2003. Yes, there are quite a few homebrews but I do not see the games you mention, or any of the games that you created. ~Matt
  13. I'm an innocent bystander here and I feel like Manuel and Fabrizio need to get in touch with Randy himself if they are concerned with the way he is conducting his business. (From the looks of things he is not 'out of the business'.) Even though I never asked for these games, I have no problem hooking them up with the royalty, if they want they can send me a personal message. I think that Randy is who they need to talk to though. As I mentioned before I had no knowledge of Hozer Video Games and I am ignorrant of Randy's history in the gaming community. This might be a one time event because it took him so long to send my CD, or it might have been a mistake and someone else ordered these games and I ended up with them instead. I don't really want to take sides here. I also don't want to see homebrew authors getting ripped off though and so I thought it might be important to let you know that I was also sent a catalog CD that lists both Gunfight and Space Treat as available for sale from Hozer. ($16 and $20 respectively) So really I think this needs to be worked out between the authors of the games and Randy if this is a concern.~Matt P.S. Both games are a lot of fun. Good work guys!!
  14. They were thrown in for free apparently. I was glad to recieve these great games, but I hope you two as the creators of these games aren't getting screwed over or something. I was unware of Hozer Video Games until yesterday really. I had just sent Randy 5 dollars based on an earlier post in this forum. It seemed ridiculously generous but I don't know what the full story is. Perhaps he thought I had ordered these games and it was a mistake? I'm sorry now for any trouble my post may have caused.~Matt
  15. Looks like I spoke too soon. I got my CD today along with some goodies like copies of Gunfight and Space Treat!!!! Let the record show that Randy is a stand up guy and Slapdash was very helpful to me as well. I haven't really had time to play with my new CD and games yet but I think it's safe to say that if you own a Supercharger you gotta order one of these. Best five bucks I ever spent!
  16. Forgive my ignorrance but what are you guys talking about? Mr Roboto? What is this a hack of?
  17. Ok, I sent this guy a check for five dollars over a month ago and he has not cashed it, contacted me, or sent me a CD. I sent a check figuring that if he was no longer selling these he could just throw it away and neither of us would be out anything. So what now? Where can I get one of these for a reasonable price? Thanks!~Matt
  18. Woo hoo! My score is on Twin G. now! Thanks to Ron!
  19. Hard to single out just one but I'm gonna have to go with Seaquest. Probably my favorite game of all time on any system.
  20. That theme song is so cool!! I'm gonna have to get one of these just to hear that coming from my Atari. Nice work!
  21. I'm 27 and have been playing my Atari 2600 for over 20 years now. Dang! has it really been that long?
  22. I've been playing the original NES Castlevania lately, and man is that game a hard mother.... I can not get past Death. He's frustrating me big time! Love 2d games but I'll probably give the PS2 game a chance.
  23. If anybody actually makes some carts with these games on them that they are willing to sell please let me know. I promise I won't tell those corporate lawyers everyones always afraid of.
