If he shipped it with a game cartridge inserted, then I was going to say that perhaps USPS was rough on the package and the game cartridge acted a lever on the board and broke those traces. Out of curiosity, what is the sellers total feedback score up to?

For a working Jaguar with the necessary hookups and two controllers I would say about $100. Hello, every one! I have found a neat trick to make old plastic pieces shine as though they are new. There's a product for automobiles called "Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer" that is meant to be applied to the car's body after it has been washed. It's supposed to make the surface bead water away and make it easier to later apply car wax. So I have started using this stuff on the plastic pieces of the various game consoles I have worked on and it makes them look great! Some people have suggested using WD-40, but that's rather toxic and seems to evaporate after 4 or so weeks. Does any one know of any better tricks? hm ... Have you cleaned the PCB pins on the game cartridge you are using? I usually just dip a que-tip (cheap cotton swab) in rubbing alcohol and then move it back and forth across the pins on the game cartridge. Hello, every one. I picked up a Jaguar recently that needed some repairs, but when I opened it up I discovered that it was modded at some point. While searching across the net I found an image of some one else's Jaguar with the exact same modifications. [ portion of that image attached below ] Has any one seen this mod before? I have no idea what it does, nor if it was completed. haha Are the two orange things tiny capacitors? (on the U23 chip on the right-hand side) Mine have 6 characters inscribed on them.
