  1. Looks like there's a Q-Bert box that opens top and bottom rather than the usual manner PB boxes opened. Is that uncommon?
  2. Had to go with Cloudy Mountain. Between the two, that's the one I would pick up today to play regardless.
  3. In Post #109 dated May 5, Tim said: "There have been a couple of people ask if they can pay now because they have the money now. I do not have a problem with that. PM me with your country or zip code and I will give you payment instructions. Do not feel pressured to pay now. We have a good couple of months, before payment is due. You may pay any time between now and then." Sounds like payment is due by the first week of July.
  4. That's an interesting list. How many of those games are new and original ideas? Out of the 25 games on the list, I count: 13 repros and 2 hacks Which leaves 6 ports and 4 new games Match 5, Carol, SG&R and Paddle Party. Regarding repros: If I take a rom file off of the Intellivision Lives/Rocks CD, put it on a cart and box it up for sale, should it really be on a "best of" list? I only voted for games that have new programming (originals and ports) or have been altered via a hack to the point of significant improvement.
  5. Bump & Jump is awesome - played it for hours back in the day. Though, here AD&D gets my vote.
  6. This is a tough one for me as kind of an apples/oranges comparison: Original concept vs hack vs port vs old rom from the '80s.
  7. Hi, that's my auction. Didn't know it was a "rarer" version. I bought it sealed a few months back on eBay and the seller sent it to me in an envelope...grrr...so the box is no longer mint. But the game is new (I plugged it in once to make sure it worked before I listed it). Dana
  8. That's right, forgot all about that incident. Definitely a tactless move, too bad it ruined it for the rest of us... But I'm still in for 2 copies of Kroz.
  9. Thanks for taking on the risk, Tim, it appears you'll get your money back. I bought all Elektronite's games via William's bundle approach, so they all cost me around $50. While the 50% increase in price for this release is steep, if that's what it takes to bring it CIB to market, then so be it. Hopefully Kroz, BD and other more popular CIB releases will be back at the bundle pricing (or there about). I'm not a fan of loose carts, and will forego any cart only releases.
  10. That's what's great about these games - there's something for everyone and therefore everyone has a different opinion regarding "playability" and "game play".
  11. You know I'm in for a set as Night Stalker and MLB are both in my Top 5 originals. Still think a Ms. Night Stalker with a bazooka would've been cool: (from BSR site) After Night Stalker was finished, game cartridges began getting larger in size, so Steve proposed Ms. Night Stalker, a 12K sequel that would include the web and all the other features he had wanted, including multiple weapons (bazookas to blast through walls!), multiple scrolling mazes and smarter robots. Marketing shelved the idea and Steve was assigned to program Space Shuttleinstead, which may have been a contributing factor toward Steve leaving Mattel and the game industry not long after.
  12. Time Pilot would be awesome. The arcade version of Frontline was fun back in the day (1982?) - played it for hours at my college union building.
  13. The way J-L is going, there will be a new 125 INTV games in no time. In addition to all the graphics you're working on, I would be all over Looping, Front Line and Time Pilot. Something about the classics of the period that Coleco advertised but never released that seems very nostalgic.
  14. William, just so I'm reading correctly, if there are enough folks here that prepay for 50 CIB, then you would commission an artist and print boxes/manuals/overlays packaged in the same style as your previous releases?
