Because this thread is here, anyone want to mod mine? I'm not sure how much it would cost, but I just wanted it modded or else its just going to sit here collecting dust.

I hope they have black on the release date. If they dont, I can wait until they do. I love the way black looks on handhelds, and this would look sweet as hell. Plus, scratches and the such dont show up as well. A minor thing I noticed, they changed the little buttons above the controll pad and the 4 face buttons to the other side. I can imagine that the 2 are start/select, but what is the other one? Switch the screens? Maybe someone who was at E3 and got a chance to play it could tell?

You probably also let out a 'spam cry' when you spam the board

These games have always been budget games, and they are the best buget games EVER. The mindlessness if it all is really fun. Plus if you go into the settings, you can make it look really cool. I think they have everything from B&W to Psychodelic colors.

By the looks of the Xbox trailer (the game is called FarCry Instincts) it seems to be that you turn into some kind of beast at night or something... The only similarity being is that you are on an island and that its a FPS. Weird.

At the time I liked SNES better because of the games that were avalible for me (remember, no internet, and only 2 videogame stores within a reasonable distance?) but now I like them both the same.

Xbox, it is coming to. Its a great FPS. I say the second best of all time (HL being the first) I cant get multiplayer to work, but I highly doubt that its even close to CS. Oh, the card I have is a Radeon 9800 Pro, but what I dont get is that it CAN run it at full everything. It really really shouldn't be able to, but it does. I'm not complaining, I'm enjoying

Alright, this is a wee bit of a bump I finally got my card, and I can say this. HOLYSHITNEEDNEWJEANS I am lucky enough to have the specs to run it at 'full blast' if you will, and it is just that. There are sharks in the water, animals running around, incredible lighting ah! And to top it all off, this game ROCKS. The story is a bit bland, but the gameplay is really fun, and it has some nice features. Nothing like getting off track and riding the dune buggy around some hills! It also makes great use of the physics, like if you shoot a board blocking some barrels, they roll down and kill some enemies. Fun to watch and screw around with as well. I cant wait to see how Painkiller, UT2K4, (soon to be) Doom 3 and (later... much... to be) Half Life 2. Me - Pwned

That actually looks intresting. We need another zombie game (preferbly a FPS!!) I'm guessing it just sucked, developers have been doing that recently. Full Throttle 2 was cancelled, but I dont think anyone expected it to be as good as the original.

Just about to mention that, part of the place I heard how much he flipped out.

Its probably because you didnt take good enough care of the SP itself, letting it bang around and hitting the sholder buttons all the time. I know someone that has had an SP from a week after they came out in Japan, and its still in perfect working order. I have also never heard anyone ever complain about them. If there is one thing I can trust with Nintendo, is that their hardware is built like a bomb shelter.

I would file something against him. From all that I have read, he seems to be a real dick about everything, and if thats the only way you can get your moneys worth, go for it. I say if hes just going to be an ass, then stop bothering with the classic gaming comunity in general.

I knew that! I'm thinking about modding my PS2 for Guitar Freaks myself... Anyways, that is the cliche japanese commercial, and I love it. The guys (and gal ) at X Play ordered it from Japan, basicly they licked it, but said it was really easy.

The GNR references were pretty funny, but they are all just really bad in general. Snipe Anteater? Come one, I like the good old 'Fire Man' and 'Cloud Man', not these new travistes.

Oh, all the the House of the Dead games have really terrible voice acting. Sucks its a fun game, so you kinda have to deal with it, just mashing the start button on all the clipscenes.

I know X4-7 has voice acting, was probably refering to those. Speaking of X, we always get the shitty names renamed from the cool japanese ones. Whats up with that? Also, X7 does have some REALLY bad voice overs, but thats why I switched it to japanese with english subtitles. I can read, and the japanese voice actors put a lof of emotion into... whatever the hell they are saying.

I thought about making one myself... after seeing them, I dont think I will. And if I see ANYONE with them, I'm going to yell at them because they probably have never even played an Atari of any sort. I wish they had a close-up of the rom-chip dogtags, though.

Found this website http://www.channelbeat.com/products/. Seems like there are some clones and such, they look to only be Japan and Euro, plus hard to find even over there. The Um Jammer Lammy Guitar Freaks clone looks rad as hell though.

Same here. I have had this PS2 for 3 years, it has been dropped 3 feet onto carpet about 3 times, and never one single problem with it. Same with my PS1, the only thing is that it dosnt always keep the top down, I have to give it a few good quick hits.
