The new PS2's arent as loud as the older ones.

If you simply got a X-Box to PS2 converter, you would be losing a couple buttons. Not a problem for some games, but a big problem for others. I think the best way would be to hack up some controllers, sadly.

Thats really sweet looking. My great grandpa had one of those cool mercury puzzle games, and I beat it every time. Its cool to see this, because I have always loved the marble madness type games. I think that I might be getting PSP and DS when they are released, there are so many cool things that each of them have.

My local mom and pop rental store (I think they have like, 3 different stores) still rents out N64 games. They rented out Saturn, Genesis, DC and SNES until about 2 summers ago. Got some great deals there

I knida discussed this with your buddy, Cliff. This isnt an event like Philly classic or anything, we are just overtaking the arcade and stuff. If you want to come, that would be great, and you may or may not get people buying any kind of adapters (I actually might be looking for a PS2-USB). Last time this happened, I hear that they brought in a few stuff, and kept most of it in their cars so they could go out and grab the stuff or whatever. You buddy also said he could get some controllers (Bemani, you know what I'm talking about) and you might be able to sell a few of those, although, dont get yourself kicked out for walking around shouting about it Animania, I went to that a few months ago. Its close enough to walk to from there, granted it isnt raining.

Wow, you sony haters really have the blinds shut. GTA moving consoles wasnt 'losing its way with developers' it was making more money. The next GTA is going to be on PS2 first. If it wasnt, then it would be fair to say. Also, I think its funny as hell that the XBX versions of EA games didnt have online, while the PS2 ones did. Again, another marketing sceme. PS2 sales are MUCH greater then the XBX. Besides, there wont be ANY 'deathblows' to either company, they produce other things. Nintendo is REALLY the only gaming leader that can get a 'Death blow' because its what the whole biz depends on. ::Golf Clap::

I hope its nothing like the first one. I think its way overrated, and I got bored with it VERY quickly. Had more fun with the $15 serious sam than Halo. I just hope HL2 comes out before then.

I try to avoid them as well. They arent THAT bad for PS2, but still. I think right now I have one or two GH games. Nothing like that for any other systems though. I remember when I picked up some N64 game and I saw that 'Players Choice' label, Dug around and found one that wasnt. They just arent.... I dunno.. as good =P

There are definatly two kinds of what its worth. Theres the 'I got this from an old lady down the street' worth, then there is 'I could sell it for ___' worth. I'd say giving her $40 for it would STILL be a steal, concidering some of those rarer games in there (BMX Airmaster, Waterworld, Miner 2049er, Spyhunter, Q*Bert Qubes, Boing!) Thats a great find too! In all honesty, You could sell off some of the rare games to people here (a few of those go for atleast $80 usualy) and get a stack of commons and harder to finds that are a lot of fun to play.

They can very well be first year, each set started off at number 1, they grew from there. Series one could be 1a-120b (just making this up) and then Series 2 could be 1a-160b. I have a stack of the old ones as well as new ones around here.

I'm sure the more technical people will tell you the exact problem, but if worst comes to worst, you can just get a new monitor for it. I dont think they are that costly. Plus, thats a cool cab to have anyways
