6200 As it was said, this is pretty much mostly memorization. Not much of a fan of this one.

111900 This is interesting. Looks like a run of the mill shmup at first, but then the sidescrolling parts surprised me

Gyruss 233750 Love This. Bad Dudes 30800 I knew the Amiga port quite well (which is just called Dragon Ninja), for the worst reasons. My friends loved the game and pestered me all the time to play it. I was wishful that the NES port was different enough to make it good. Nah, still has the same terrible collision detection, and lack of impactful feeling which is unforgivable on a game of this kind.

Gyruss - 142350 Never heard of this one before, and it's really nice. I'm still not sure about the best control method though.

Hi everyone. I have been lurking on the forums for quite a while, and was hovering on this thread because I do like these sort of challenges. It was mostly about the arcade games (which I really didn't understand it was ports:)) because I don't have much attachment to the NES, or even cared about the system. Ended up playing Batman, and liked it a lot. Didn't get the screenshot (missed the need to pause), so I'll get it next time. It's smooth, nice graphics and music. I'll be participating to get to know the NES library, although I'm not that hardcore, so i'll play with Retroarch.

I've been thinking about buying an arcade stick for awhile, but the Mayflash F300, which is the one I was thinking about buying is sold-out everywhere. So going the DIY route seems like the best option, although still some doubts remain. Is something like this good as case, or should I just buy a wooden box and drill it myself? (https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B07NKGLZ2P/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=arcade+stick+diy&qid=1616690320&sr=8-1) I was curious about the Industrias Lorenzo products, since they're a spanish brand so shipping should be cheaper (i live in Portugal), but they don't have ball tops, and I grew up with a Quickjoy Megastar joystick so I'm more used to that form. I mostly play shmups and run and guns (almost never fighters, unless they're scrolling beatemups), so I really don't know which product should I buy. I have no idea about gates, or what buttons or sticks are better for shmups (and I prefer something more silent, to not piss off the rest of the family) Amazon has some button kits, and I have no idea if they're good enough for the price (https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B07Z6GDZM7/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=arcade+stick+diy&qid=1616690602&sr=8-6) or (https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B078W5JQ1Q/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=arcade+stick+diy&qid=1616690602&sr=8-7)
