  1. I'd like to do a video reply but I'm watching television so I'll just type it for now.

    1. My NES. I've had it since I was a kid and it still works if I blow into it often enough.

    2. My top loader NES. I bought it for $125 and I use it ALL THE TIME. It works great, no more blowing into the game.

    3. Spider Maze. It's rare.

    4. My complete boxed Super Mario 3. Though it's not the same one from when I was a kid, I saved up $82 to buy this game when I was less than 10 years old and holding it now brings back crazy memories.

    5. Dr. Mario for NES. This is the game that I play the most, one of my favourites. I've played it for 5-6 hours straight.

  2. This is the best thing Kinect is good for, forget those games.

  3. It looks like 25 from each website is cheaper from videogameboxprotectors.com.

And $13 shipping to Canada, I can get 25 for $30. I'm also looking for clear bags for the instruction manuals for loose games and also possibly clear bags (or pages like hockey cards) for my Transformers instruction booklets.

  4. What? Under what possible circumstances would you be justified in "researching something" for 5-7 days before paying? Unless you're conducting some kind of background check on the seller and have reason to believe you are going to be defrauded, your obligation is to pay regardless.

When you work 18 hours a day, 7 days a week like I do. It's not hard to decide between sleeping and looking something up on the internet.

I just bought a toy for $1000 and had to snag it right away because it was actually quite a good deal. Then afterwards I was lucky enough to have some time right away to research how to tell a knock off from a real one. If I discovered it was a knock off I could always have my bid cancelled because he was selling a fake. It turned out the toy was real and I paid within 5 minutes of getting the invoice. Had I been busier that day it would have taken quite a while for me to be able to look that up, maybe upwards of a week.

Here's another scenario, I win an auction from someone and they have another item ending in 10 days which I also want and I'd like to combine the shipping. I can't pay for this item because I need a revised invoice with combined shipping charges once all auctions have ended. I do this a lot. I receive packages from Ebay at least 4 days a week, more than every second day. My record month was 60 purchases in 30 days.

  5. It's buyers like you who give eBay a bad name, buddy.

To be honest I normally pay right away, sometimes it'll go for 5-7 days if I need to research something before paying. This case is just because the seller is local and we can't find a time convenient for both of us to meet up. Every weekend we're both too busy it seems.

  6. I got confused when Microsoft released a console. They sell a computer which lets you play games and now they sell a smaller white computer which.......lets you play games. I don't get it, why do they have 2 different pieces of hardware doing the exact same thing? And why would anyone buy the console when the entire computer is cheaper and does everything the console does and more? I could never figure it out.

  7. Here are some completed auctions. They included the tapes with the cart as well. Second one had a rough box

I would say the 100+ is a bit off for just the cart.

    Great find, none the less.

Cool. So for a total of $15 I got 85 games including Smurfs, Berenstain Bears and Spider Maze. Looks like I'm off to a good start. Is Berenstain Bears rarer than Spider Maze? It's probably worth much less with the hole in the front of the label.

how many do you have total?

you should start thinking about making a list. (backloggery.com is my favorite website for that)

I was given about 80 in the first lot and I just bought 5 more for $3 each.

I just spent an hour playing Demon Attack, that's an awesome game! Probably my favourite in the lot.
