yup, seeing screen shots of rayman way back when are what turned me onto the jag. been playing games since i was a child and three years ago i was lucky enough to join ubisoft, a company i respect and product i believe in. i had the chance to meet michel ancel at a company gathering once, great guy. i can try digging up rayman jag info if anyone is interested. just PM me with anything you'd liek me to look into

i'm curious, does anyone know how these rf/composite signal switchers work? i ask because i have all my systems on racks in the garage but with multiple switch boxes depending on the system. my dream switchbox, which would have to be amplified for all these inputs, would be rack mountable (or something similar) and have enough inputs/rf convertors to handle the number of consoles us collectors have. so, couple of questions i guess, anyone have any info on converting rf to composite or composite to rf? second, i'm getting a bonus soon, anyone up for a contract job to build one? i'm sure given the time i could build one myself but if someon has he skills, let's chat. t

posted in hardware also, hope it's OK to post here too. hi all, i was thinking of building an ultimate controller interface, please see my post over at http://forums.emuscene.com/viewtopic.php?t=1186 the question i had, can the stelladaptor be used with other controllers for other emu's, specifically master system or genesis (i think the other systems i listed for stelladaptor on my post above are just wishful thinking). also, if anyone has any ideas on other adaptors i could use for my list in said post, please feel free to respond. this won't be a cheap project by any means but it could be the end all of controller interfaces. thanks all for reading and any input you may have. tony

hi all, so i was thinking about getting back into c64 gaming (emulation is cool but the real deal can't be beat. i could swear i read YEARS ago of someone who had hacked an ide cd-rom drive to work with a c64. have disc images on a cd and you literally have thousands of games on one disc. anyone know of anything or was i hitting the pipe a little to much back then? tony

hi all, i posted a while ago about getting a sean kelly multi-cart and everyone suggested i get a vec-ram instead (which i'm going to do). i was curious though as i really enjoyed sean's cart having all the games on it up to that point. what's the restriction in having a vec-ram cart with enough banks to hold all existing games? is it a cost prohibitive chip? my ideal multi-cart would hold all games and be user upgradeable to put new stuff on there. i come and go from the classic gaming scene and flashing a cart (although easy enough) when something new is released or wanting to play game "z" but the current cart only holds games "a - y" just seems tedious. don't get me wrong, i appreciate the work folks put into these! again, i'm just curious mostly.
-
hey guys, any idea where i can score a vectrex multi cart in time for the holidays? sean kelly's site seems to be gone thanks, tony

hi all, i was hoping someone would be willing to help me out on a personal level (non board posts) with CC2 questions i may have. i did get one when they came out but havent had anytime to tinker with it. i do work in the industry and would be wiling to kick down some current gen games for your effort. thanks, tony d8thstar___at_comcast--dot__net

hey all, recently came into a little cash and am looking at filling in my jag collection. i consider the NUON the spiritual succesor to the jag so was looking to maybe pick one up. anyone have any suggestions as to which model i should get? there seems to be differences in what version of the OS it runs with VLM so i thought i'd ask around. one last ?, any good sources to get a full set of games? thanks all, please email me at d8thstar a t yahoo d o t com

to dracisbac, you feel my pain! I'm sure Chad would be happy to host the OS X version. to kheller2, thanks for taking this on and i hope to be able to use it. thanks again man
-
anyone care to port the linux code to os x? i would but i'm simply a user, no knowledge in this area. thanks, t
-
yes, can be done but no, shouldn't be done. i was simply throwing an idea out there. if i was t-bird and the rest of the crew, i wouldn't release it either. this was just a topic of discussion. beyond the bs topic, are there any roms for the jag that are considered pd? if not, are there any worth chasing to see if any of the small developers who no longer produce would release to the community?
-
no offense punshier but i'm not a pirate, i work in the industry for one of the top video game publishers in the country. i have an extensive collection of games totalling in the thousands, easily. not everybody that asks about roms does so to play games they dont own.
-
hey all, i'm not going to ask where to find roms for the jag emu and i'm sure atari age won't host because of size/bandwidth limitations but i was wondering, are there any roms for the jag that are considered pd? i have a complete jag collection and would like to try an emu out. on the flip side, anyone want to take odds on whether 4play would ever release bs as pd? seeing how carts will more than likely never be made again, i think it might be a cool gesture for them to do for those of us (not me, i have two ) who don't have it and would like to try it out. that plus, it would give the emu authors a rom to really focus on to make playable as it might very well have been the most complicated piece of programming. just a thought, thanks for reading. tony

email me at [email protected], i'll take it

DANG! count me in man! maybe start a sign up sheet in case you do go into production?

hi all, back from europe, back to collecting. anyone have an extra mean 18 they want to part with? cart only is cool, cart + manual even cooler, box not necessary. that will complete my 7800 production run. anyone have a klax too? that will complete my after market run. thanks
