Upon testing on a 7800 to observe colors, I found that the game contains many quick-moving, seemingly random black bars that vary in size within the playfield. Odd.

I'm using a Light Sixer on a 19" Magnavox CRT. I could try it on other setups if necessary (I have way too many 2600s laying around and various television sets). Good luck going through to Namco.

I just tried this on real hardware via Harmony. Works great and is just a fantastic work, though a few things were noticed. The enemy cars become very difficult to see when two or more (or so, just going off what I believe the numbers were) are on screen or with a rock due to the flicker. Perhaps make the enemies a darker color or background lighter to be seen better? After death from anything, the screen rolls once while drawing the screen. It's a bit bothersome could be gotten used to after a while. The second track is a little hard to see with the red and orange, along with the flickering enemies. Again, perhaps lighter background or darker walls? Just what I found, note that I am no programmer. WIll be checking back for updates!

Very, very impressive, great work. I've been waiting for somebody to port Rally X in some way to the 2600. I would likely purchase a cart if these were made.

Pardon. My interests seem to have moved to arcade games. I am not on here much anymore at all!
-
But you're here today. And that's what's great about this hobby. There's so many aspects to explore and transition into when getting bored.

I have kinda gone the opposite way. After the past few years of collecting arcade games, my focus has shifted back to my classic game consoles and computers again. Of course, they ARE a lot lighter and easier to store!

To the top. Pretty soon will be a fully restored 2600 4-switcher, a Sunnyvale in-house test 2600, and a ton of perfect to like new Game Boys of all models.

If you would really like to sell it and get pricing advice, I highly recommend the KLOV arcade forum at forums.arcade-museum.com. I've been on for over a year as Jr. Pac.

It's so good, cats ask for it by name. -
Nice. Super Pac-Man is one of my favorites. I have a collection of 8 games.

STILL LOOKING FOR SEARS GAMES-ANY HELP?
JrPac replied to mjarnold7's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I have a boxed copy of INTV Snafu with the controller overlays, though I'm unsure how to differenciate the Sears versions, if any or if it's even for the console you are looking for. -
SMS Ms. Pac-Man was pretty meh.

Is 371st post anything special? -
I sold a Play it Loud! Game Boy to Algus, all went well. A great guy to deal with with immediate payment. Enjoy!

I restore these controllers by fully de-oxidizing the PCB, installing all new improved dome switches, and so on. What is wrong with your controller (not working at all, directions or fire not working, etc.)?
-
Yes, this is a severe case. Here was the bottom on one of my particle board machines once stored for many years in a non-climate controlled area and suffered water damage at a time. You could pull the t-nuts out in a second. Multiple sections of the cabinet were also swelling. The coin counter only read 5k. Plywood, which is what many games were able to stand a much better beating though it's better to be safe than sorry. Take them in.

Today I picked up this very cool black Play it Loud! Game Boy at the local mall (surprisingly enough) for a decent price. It's pretty beat but I plan to restore it to sell or replace the whole shell and add a backlight. Not sure what to do with it yet.

My own.

Clay Cowgill is still around and hugely into the arcade business. I'm sure he can still be contacted about this.

Thanks for the comment and advice. I did forget to add that the case and buttons are all brand new, so hopefully that would add to the value!

Store is closing, many rare and hard to find items will be listed
JrPac replied to traderdan's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I was unaware that there was ever a River Raid arcade board, do you have any pictures? I am curious. -
I hate to see these go, but I really could use the funds and room for new games. More may be added later. Item no. 1: A mint condition Atari CX-10 aka Heavy Sixer joystick. This particular joystick (clicky PCB model) is in perfect working order, with exact replacement brand new triangular metal dome switches and a like new rubber boot. The paint is all original and in phenomenal shape, with only very minor wear. The plastics, also original, are in perfect shape. The rubber feet are very nice and barely worn for their age. I've also added a retaining ring around the boot like in the CX-40s to fix a common issue with these CX-10s, which is the boot slipping right off. Everything has been cleaned and shined. The only thing missing is the hex disk "ATARI" logo. Make me an offer. These are very rare. Item no. 2: Restored Purple Game Boy Color. Looks like new with the screen protector waiting to be peeled off, ready to play! The plastic housing and buttons are all brand new, making a beautiful console. There is no sound in this console, though headphones should still work. The pictures make it appear blue, it is purple. Batteries will be included. $30 obo shipped. Item no. 3: *SOLD!* Game Boy Play It Loud! Clear. It's still in the case, complete with manual, reproduction insert, etc. The console is mint. Batteries will be included. *SOLD!*

Decapitated spiders and their nests/eggs, cockroaches, and a paperclip I believe. I have seen multiple consoles online listed as "completely cleaned and tested" that appear to have the surface wiped with a baby wipe and no more, still junk in every crevice. THIS is a cleaned 2600, one I did 2 years ago or so.

Immediate help please with 810 with prototype on disk!
JrPac replied to JrPac's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Thank you very much. I managed to repair the button bu cleaning off the pad and reseating the connector. Following the instructions given here; I held OPTION while booting the system and disk, selected option L, typed in the filename, and the program began to boot. This time, it works! In comparison to the ROM on the net, mine has a few differences (likely indicating an earlier revision), including alternate character design, lack of scrolling text in the attract mode (only a copyright), as well as others. It was found local to Atari's previous location, clearly done many years ago. I would like to be able to dump the ROM as well as make copies. Any help would be appreciated. -

I have been able to simply type in DOS under READY and it switches to DOS. I haven't used Option at all, as the button for Option is broken on my computer, oops. I have been able to load other games from the disk that worked. -

I was filled with joy and excitement, only to find my copy is dead. Only garbled characters and rainbow stripes.
