Hey Pixelboy!
I'm new to the forum and I bought a second run SGM cart as well. Where can I find your list of games and where to order them? I'll start looking around here, but I'd love a link if you would be so kind. :-)
Thanks!!

First you didn't miss it if you look for the other thread of second run it will tell you how you can still order SGM. Also other threads explain why kickstarter really not perferred by Opcode and also probably not realistic.
Pac-man has been around forever and there is a huge number of them out there. It should not be hard to find one on ebay at some time for reasonable price as long as it is not a yellow cart which could be high priced.
For your pleasure though since he does not plan on creating anymore pac-man carts you will see in the pac-man thread toward the end that he has released the rom and you can download it and play it using Atari-max SD cart or on an emulator.
Thanks for the info. As you can see here, I DID just find the other thread AND sent money.

Even though I'm a member, I found the thread via Google so yeah...I jumped the gun a bit and started whining. I have actually been looking for the cart but can't find it going for anything less than about $200 on eBay, but the news about the ROM is great. I'll follow up on that as well. I would still be hard pressed to find a solid reason why a Kickstarter project wouldn't work for them, but I will go back and read the threads now. I'm interested to hear the logic on that.
Again, I just got super excited and let my fingers do the walking AND talking a little too quickly. But y'know, it happens. I just started collecting again and it's been a lot of fun. I'd just like to get a hold of the original carts like Pac-Man and Space Invaders, just to have them, you know? I'm sure you understand that as a collector.
Thanks again, man! I'll go start reading up.
Laterz!

This looks fantastic. I'm so disappointed I missed the opportunity to own this. Will you be offering more for sale? I'm curious to know the logic behind such a tiny run. You should fire up a kickstarter project to really raise some money to get more made, and reprint Pac Man! If ou were to do this, I'd be the first in line to donate. I only just got back into collecting and just can't express how sad I am to have missed this. Let us help you!! LOL

Hmmm....No, I didn't try either of these things yet. I will do that and report back. LOL
Funny thing is...I'm not sure I have any video tapes anymore.
Thanks for the suggestions. I suppose they should have been obvious, but there ya go.

Hey Everyone!
My name is Bob and I've been a lurker here for a long, long time. I've gotten a lot of information off these boards over the years and now that I'm back to collecting, I am looking for some help.
I'm trying to hookup my classic consoles through my VCR so I can record sessions for my blog. I'm working with a couple versions of the 2600, a Colecovision, and an Intellivision. For the sake of discussion, I'm using the 2600 right now and trying to get the signal to pass through the VCR to my LCD HDTV.
When I run the signal directly from the console to the cable input on the television, it works fine. Not the greatest signal, but playable. However, no matter how I run it through the two VCRs I've tried, I get no signal on the TV. I feel like I've tried everything to get it to work, but I'm hoping that maybe someone here might have an idea that I may have missed.
I've tried switching channels, changing the TV/VCR settings, using different cables...lots of things, but anything I try to put into the AV inputs on the television, I get no signal at all. I've tried both AV inputs as well. One thing that might be helpful in diagnosing this is that I know there must be SOME signal going through, because as you know on modern TVs, some of them like mine have a little floating box that says "No Signal" that appears kind of like a screensaver when there's nothing coming in. Sometimes when I switch the console on and off, that box will disappear then come back again after a couple minutes. So it almost seems like there is something going through...but I still see black on the screen.
Does anyone have any suggestions for things to try, especially on the television? It almost seems like that's where the issue is. However, one other thing...I did try to run the signal through my Yamaha AV reciever using the HDMI output to the television and could never get a signal there either.
So...I know that's not a lot to go on, but does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Bob

I would like a copy of Frontline too. :-)
Do we notify you here for other carts like Zaxxon and Dragons Lair?
Thanks!
