Many times people have asked to make the default region "all" on the Atari 2600 list to prevent these "mistakes", but so far it hasn't been changed. I don't understand why, since the 7800 lists has "all" for the region as default... Also i think that the opening price is pretty steep. I've seen complete versions of this game in a better condition sell for less... 998832 They have SEARS in Australia ?.

I've been to Japan twice and seen those 2800 systems boxed in stores all over.If he gets that price he's making a killing because they go for about $60.00 over there. That FM Towns Marty he has is a crazy price too ,I've seen those for less than $80.00 with games bundled.I bought back a Bandai Playdia and a Bandai Pippin for around $45.00 each .It's a cool place to shop.

You can ship a Video game anywhere in the USA for $3.00 or less.I've shipped to the UK and Spain for less than that guy.

$25.00 shipping .He'd better delivery it himself and set it up for that..

My local Wal-mart has nothing like those savings. It usually has the top 20 for each system and the latest budget titles for each system. They never discount any games and the only ones that are cheap are the bundles for the PS2.We have one of those huge stores too.

The Main label is there but there was another small thin Serial number over the top of the original serial .I suspect it was refurbished or a factory faulty system that was reshipped .I have an Atari 1200XL and a Lynx that has an extra serial over the top of the label too. 998052 Just to be sure, does it have the thick plastic molding with rounded corners in the front? Have you opened it up to see if it has the thick aluminum RF shielding? 998383 Yes it has thick Aluminum shielding ,rounded edges not sharp.I got another Heavy sixer from my attic but it has the label missing.I stripped down a lot of the 2600's and washed the casing it hot water and lost labels.

I did the same thing but with Vectrex system and a huge box of games the owner of the store wanted $10.00 for the lot. .Now this store is a dump and next to nobody goes in there and you can't even tell if it's open.So i went to get cash from the bank and when i got back the whole lot was gone.I did the same with Action comics which had the 1st Superman story in it .It upsets me to go into that story though.

What system you collect more games then you expect
Nemesis replied to 8th lutz's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I've got to over 90 2600 titles but i can't find any more local that i don't have.Funnily enough i found 2 copies of Tooth Protectors in one summer but it took me 5 years to find Robot Tank.I'd buy single carts from Ebay but shipping charges make it no fun. 998019 Good score on the Tooth Protectors. I do all my shopping on eBay or here. I've bought lots of single carts on eBay too, and it adds up. Now I'm more about trying all the games first in emulation, and then going after the carts I really want. It's less painful on the wallet that way. 998033 I put both Copies of Tooth Protectors on E-bay last year,You might have seen them .The last cart with manual went for a measly $165.00 and the week after a copy with no manual with a wrinkled label(not mine) went for double that price. The 1st one i put on was still in the styrofoam surround and had the manual and it went for $330.00. -
SEGA Star Wars arcade - ever seen it in real life?
Nemesis replied to Flojomojo's topic in Arcade and Pinball
I've seen more than 2 in Arcades in Blackpool UK.Probably not there anymore because it's a busy resort and the arcades are pretty good at rotating cabinets. However there's a huge warehouse in Blackpool that sells them .Yellow pages for the Fylde area had the company listed.I live in the USA now though. -

Yep, so long as they have the vertical hold. At least, they work on US 2600's on US TV's. When you say "over in the UK" does that mean you are playing them on a UK television? If thats the case I couldnt say. I have a bunch of PAL carts and they play fine on my 2600. I just have to adjust the screen for them... 998008 I'm in the USA now i live here ,My parents live in the UK and the box of games is in the attic over there .

I was afflicted with that for a while, a couple of years ago ... even went so far as to track down Wheel of Fortune 2, the PC Link and the Internet cart (and bought a USR serial modem just to try it out.) Then I finally succeeded in completing the set when I scored a Compete.com link cable off of usenet, and sold the whole thing about a week later. I couldn't believe how much time I had invested in finding a dang link cable. 997999 There was a time when a Game.com search on E-bay would bring up 3 pages of auctions .I see it's alot harder to find any now.The backlit (frontlit) version is very hard to find because it was only out in stores for a few months.I sold all my Game.com collection to a guy in Spain of all places. -
I have a large box of PAL 2600 games over in the UK do they work on the US 2600 ?.I do have a TV with Horizontal and Vertical hold to stop picture roll.

Nemesis, Your serial numbers don't seem to fit our pattern. Most Heavies have 5 numbers and a letter or 6 numbers. Are you sure that it is a Heavy? Does the sticker say made in Sunnyvale or made in Taiwan? 997934 MFD In USA Atari INC Sunnyvale California Ok both consoles have serial numbers under the thin serial numbers if you get what i mean I can only peel off the Atari one the sears one is tearing the label underneath.. I agree,Especially as you can get a nice cart version of Beta Fight for life for $50.00 .

That's pretty cheap for 3 games.I have Powerdrome on the Xbox an it kicks ass,Ford Racing blows chunks unless you like Fords and Motorcross Mania is fun but looks so bad you'd think you were playing an N64 game.I got the other set last Year because i got a gift card the set included Ford Racing 2,Truck Racing and Corvette 50th Racing.I opened them up and took them to EB and got $14.00 for the 3 .

my XBox 360 auction ending in the next 4 hours!
Nemesis replied to RickHarrisMaine's topic in Auction Central
I was Lucky (or unlucky) to get an Xbox 360 on release day.I had it for 3 days then stuck it on Ebay with my wifes account. In the end it went for $780.00 but that was before Xmas and all the problems were brought to peoples attention. Some people have stuck 360's on a few times and still not sold them because of stupidly high reserve prices.I never bid on anything that has a reserve ,I would rather see a higher starting price the an auction at 99 cents with a reserve. -
Why would you want to mod chip a 360 ?.There are no good games to copy.I'd hope they fix all the bugs in the games and the overheating power supply before i'd worry about ripping off game companies by buying pirate games.Out of 9 people i know who bought an Xbox 360 3 of us have had faulty 360's and nearly all of us have had major crashing problems.I would not dare open up a 360 just incase you had to send it back for a repair.

Atari on it's way out...again! (58% less value)
Nemesis replied to kevin242's topic in Modern Console Discussion
It really doesn't matter what companies name is on a game box Unreal Championship didn't sell because it was an Atari brand game,It sold because it was a good game.Atari Flashback is a novelty item and i'm sure they are making money on it and i have not seen any at discount prices yet.Atari can turn it's name back to Infrograms in an instant. -
Ads In Games Getting (Even More) Out Of Hand?
Nemesis replied to Ze_ro's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Some games need ads to make them look authentic ,Like NASCAR ,F1,GP3,Fifa.SSX.Amped ect.I think ads in normal games are out of place and should be left out.If you have to use ads put them in the instruction books as tear outs then we could look at them and bin them. BTW i thenk THAW is a terrible game ,It locked up My Xbox 360 at least 6 times in one day ,One of the reasons i sold my 360 . -

I got an Amiga CD32 and 7 games in an auction from a guy in Canada .A few of the titles i really wanted were in the lot,The guy who sold it me closed down his computer store and mailed me a list of 140 more titles he had .I made an offer for the lot and now i have 2 shelves full of CD32 games and non are doubles and there's even a proto CD in there and a kiosk only compilation.I like the system it's simple and has a ton of playable games without messing with floppies..Over the years i've also amassed 40 Master System games which also was not a plan. -
Atari Jaguar Collection Sale pictures added

It has to go as a lot ,I don't have time at the moment to split it up and i don't want to let people down with delays.I'm offering it in this forum aimed at Jaguar collectors rahter than anywhere else. The only alternative is to stick it on E-bay..Thanks 996997 Most collectors will already have some, if not most of the "commercial" releases. You might want to consider selling the higher-end items separately, as you'll surely get more bites that way. 997046 I was hoping for a newcomer or friend of a Jaguar fan who wanted to get into it..I thought i'd offer it here before it all goes on E-bay. 997085 How much for the lot and location? 997218 I'm open to offers.obviously i want as much as possible for the lot.I got e-mailed an offer of $280.00 plus shipping so far..I'm in PA USA -
