  1. Pollyanna Popularity : a person characterized by irrepressible optimism and a tendency to find good in everything — Pollyanna adjective — Pol·ly·an·na·ish also Pol·ly·an·nish adjective
  2. Open letter from Polly-Anna, Hey guys. I love the fact that games are being developed for the Intellivision. We all need some sort of payment for our time and expenses. A good deal in a community like ours here on this forum is the concept of Raising ALL Boats. This thread has done nothing to raise all boats. If anything our community lowers itself into a muddy quagmire of smelly crap where we all sink and get stuck. If it is money stopping this...it is very easy to solve. If it is ego, all is lost. Clearly it's not money, it is an inability for people to communicate in a civil manner and having the understanding that $#it happens...things don't always go as smoothly as planned. Feeling get hurt and egos get bruised. I don't know crap about this really, but what I see on the the surface is pretty stupid. Groovy Bee, I look forward you your work. To other INTV developers, carry on. If it's not fun any longer, there is always Android or iPhone. Thanks to all the developers that carry on the Intellivision. I know your intention is not to get rich doing this. I'm a folk singer, I won't get rich doing that, but in the good years I can make a living in the arts doing what I love. I wish the same for you. Your's truly, Pollyanna
  3. Well, you can't have enough boxes. Of course I'm in for the set...
  4. If I could get jzintv to work on my Mac I'd be all over this. I just don't appear to be very bright!!!!
  5. Yeah, that was dumb. IMHO! (or rather my not so humble opinion.)
  6. LOL, I guess not. OK, I'll pick up an unworking ECS and have at it. I've got about 6 intellivoice modules, so if I need some tech support, I'll pass one on to you. I'll fire up both my ECS units to make sure they both still work. LOL Jay
  7. cmart, Sorry you had tough things to deal with over the weekend. Believe it or not I'm glad you kept your phone on. I can live without it knowing what you were going through.
  8. Oh well, it was a thought, I still might get out a hack saw and a glue gun and go to work on one someday.
  9. Has anybody taken a non working Intellivision 2600 Game Adaptor and tried to fit in a Speech Module...so it matches the Intellivision 2. LOL. Just something I've thought about...for no sane reason what so ever.
  10. Nice meeting you...and the money got spent on Learning Fun Two and a Mint Complete Slap Shot Pro Hockey and a set of Mint Activision Games including another Worm Whomper Sunday night in the Hotel. LOL
  11. So it was YOU that ruined my show. LOL At least I saw one, pushed some keys and took pictures....
  12. Well done, we got our 125 this week too, a Learning Fun 2.
  13. The theory is that the intellivision has an offset plug in like the Intellivision 2. Which seemed stupid because it would stop it from being used in the Sears Intellivision. The Box of the Intellivision Unit shows the Colecovision Plugs...so it's confusing. I have a pair I haven't tried in the Intellivison yet that were "sold as" Intellivision, but came with straight plugs. Hope that helps.
  14. Didn't buy much...sold some games in the parking lot. As an Intellivision Junkie I was very disappointed, now if I had gotten to buy the Keyboard Component...even though it wasn't working I would have been very happy. But someone finally Paypaled the guy some money because I was willing to lay out the cash. :-(
  15. Maybe not, my son has a box...maybe no zone...just the owe zone on my Visa.
  16. Repro, but don't really care. Now I can sit back and wait on deals and upgrades and swaps... Thanks!
  17. Got it, Learning Fun 2, Had box, got Cart and Instructions. AT 125 with 122 CIB.
  18. I'll never make that...but I'm now gold and soon Platinum. Learning Fun Two, completes the 125 for us.
  19. We'll every so often you need an Idiot...Portland Gaming Expo was an Intellivision bust. We sold enough in the parking lot to pay for the trip and and Leaning Fun Two at a high price and a complete Slap Shot cheap. Had not seen LF2 for sale in a long time. I do have a box. I paid cheap price not long ago for a complete Spiker...so it's all about balance. I know have all 125 games....plus tons of extras, joysticks, clip on sticks, Skill Sticks, sticky stix and will only be upgrading from here on out. So to complete the collection I didn't feel bad about it. It hadn't been listed long...and had 12 watchers when I bought it. Blame me!
