Oktoberfest is worthy of the entire year.

We have the Free State of Jefferson here on the West coast...but it is unrecognized by California, Oregon or the U.S.. Many of us argue that California is not part of the United States and that Berkeley is not part of the planet.

This is only slightly disturbing...

As soon as I pay CMART for the booth space I'll be going. I'm sure I'll be releasing two games. Maybe one as a "Baggy" release just to watch heads explode. :-)

I do have a sealed U.S. Coleco Turbo - it is just that Turbo was shrink wrapped in the CBS version! So it counts as having been Shrinked.

I still need A CBS Turbo Shrink-Wrapped. I have a lot of the latter games Shrink-Wrapped with KB Toy or Toys R US stickers on them. I am pretty much done with all that were Released By the Manufacturer shrink-wrapped. Please someone help me!!!!!!

If they had used the BBWW Logo anywhere it would be easier and I would have been forced to do it. Has I've said before I have had to defend the BBWW Trademark about 5 times. Mostly related to music.

I love that. I did not know this box existed until Cmart showed me a photo 5 years back. I have lusted for one ever since.

My son started collecting. It was one of his great memories. Weeks I'd work overtime and miss being at home for a good part of Saturday I would usually bring home a new game. About 7 years ago he started and it became a father and son thing. We have a very nice collection now. Mostly NIB. We have so much extra I have to sell off. LOL We started to do a lot of overseas games...but it got a bit crazy so we've moved away from that except for the odd beautiful gem now and then.

If I was creating a new new series for a broad release on several consoles...then maybe it would be worth it. It is a not as cheap as a copyright.

Piggy Bank the game is copyright protected. TM only covers Blah Blah Woof Woof. Trademarks are expensive. I doubt I would be granted a Trademark on a common name like "Piggy Bank" even if I tried. It's all part of doing business. Sometimes I'm OK with all the stuff that goes on here. I don't collect for other systems so I might be the same there as well. I felt strongly enough about wanting to get permission for Parsec that I had the game reworked when I could not. I could have just released it and violated abandoned IP but decided not too. Maybe that was a bad move. LOL I may try again to get it.

Clearly this was produced with more than a home printer. The fold scoring would indicate that. The design could have just been a bunch of stock illustrations put together with a theme.

mMarnold7 said he did not make the box he just had them in his collection. I believe him. It's just weird that I never saw these being a heavy collector. Obviously someone hid the release from me.

There was no permission given. The Copyright doesn't assign to anything specific here. By law, general assumption would be to the publisher of the game. He gave credit to Intellivision Productions? But no used by permission! No mention that this game is the Intellectual property of someone else. I have had to defend BBWW Trademark 4 times on various music sites. The damage to me is minimal from a financial perspective. However with several other Piggy Games in the works it does make it harder to defend. I let him know that an official box was in the works from BBWW two years ago. It is disheartening as someone who does this with profit not being the motivating factor.
