With the Zimba Nt 3000X adapter :-)
-
Would it be possible to slightly revise the Gameboy and Game Gear PCBs so they're standardized to fit inside actual Famicom carts? You could still keep the extra holes for the acrylic, with the added option for those who don't mind dremeling themselves. It looks like a slightly larger hole in the center and two smaller holes on both sides would do the trick, assuming it's not too tall. Edit: I just noticed not all my Famicom carts are the same, some have center peg, others do not.

Will the Gameboy and Gameboy Color share the same adapter? Also, is the Master System adapter still getting the connector for 3D glasses? Thanks

Untested, but I think these are correct. Maybe others can confirm? OMG I'm so excited I got my Nt mini today!!! kevtris, There are several SMS bios files, which do you recommend for best compatibility? Will I need to manually switch regions when playing or is that automatic? Thanks Edit: I think I just need the 8 KB files. Looks like the others have bundled games. Going to try that :-)

I totally agree from an ease of use standpoint. I'm just saying we have options for passing VGA without lag. The devices I mentioned earlier are not upscalers. "Line multiplier" is perhaps a better term. Calling the OSSC an upscaler is like calling the Nt mini an emulator. But back to ease of use, not everyone wants to take apart their console and solder a zillion tiny wires to the motherboard for HDMI. Video mods like that are too difficult for most people. That's why the Nt mini exists and is such a great option for modern retro gamers. :-)

OSSC or Audio Authority 9A60 (component) are good options for passing VGA without scaling, if your TV supports them.

I'm just curious hypothetically because these things fascinate me. I'm perfectly happy with whatever kevtris decides to do. :-) True, C64 is a computer with a keyboard but I think most people would be using the (Atari 2600 like) joystick to play games. Modern SD loaders can load and play games without a single key press.

Wait, isn't the Cyclone V in the Nt Mini more powerful than the Cyclone III in the MiST FPGA, which has a fully functional C64 core?
-
Would it be possible to run MiST cores on the Nt Mini? The Nt mini looks more capable but MiST has more cores. NEC PC Engine, Sega Genesis, Amiga, Commodore 64, Apple II and many others.

Kevtris, Will your Sega Master System core support FM audio on the Analogue NT Mini? I think if you can add PC Engine/SuperGrafx support, it could justify the purchase for many who don't already own a SuperGrafx. Really wouldn't need a controller adapter either.

I would love it if the original hardware was under the hood, with HDMI out and maybe a built in scanline filter. It would be awesome if it had the capability of playing Atari 2600 games too, like the original did back in the day. I just hope it's not another Android emulator on a chip gimmick. We seriously have enough of those already.

I have a Panasonic M2 FZ-35S (VERY RARE) that was used as a kiosk at a local auto dealership. It is in Like New condition and everything is tested and working. It has the same underlying hardware as the 3DO M2 game systems that were never manufactured. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeLGfeDHIYohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivogNG9jazk There were two games uploaded years later (never officially released) and I have both burnt to disc. One is a racing game and the other is a shmup. In theory, the M2 arcade titles would work if the bios could be modified, bootloader, etc. I have one of the arcade games but it doesn’t work on the stock unit. The system includes the power cable and uses standard VGA, s-video, composite cables. There’s a switch on the back to select your preferred video mode. I do not have a controller, but a standard 3DO controller has been verified as working. I removed the expansion plate (upper right rear) to see what was behind it. It turns out there was nothing there. For some reason I didn’t put it back on!? But I know I have it somewhere and will either ship it with the unit or drop it in an envelope and mail it separate if I can find it. I know I wouldn’t have thrown it out, but I just can’t seem to find it at the moment. It totally bugs me too! I’ll probably kick myself later for parting with this, but I’m trying to build out my collection and looking for systems that have more games, as I also like to play games and not just collect them. PLEASE NOTE: This system only has a couple games and MAY NEVER have anymore. It’s more geared toward the hardcore collector who must have every system. I’m willing to trade for any two of the systems below. They must be in very good condition, completely working and come with all the necessary controllers, cables, etc. Atari Jaguar + CD Neo Geo CD TurboDuo Please feel free to contact me with any questions, thanks.
