Hi guys, I attended a Retro gaming event in the UK last weekend and this adaptor was one of the first things that caught my eye when I came in. From comments made by other attendees it seems rather rare and I cant find much information googling 'Atari 2600 multicart adaptor' as it just brings up AA threads about the Harmony cart.
Any ideas what this is and what its called?

This sounds like an amazing Idea, are you going for a small print run of the book to start with or going via a larger publisher?

Hi Dualcam, I was wondering as this works via usb whether you've had any success getting it working on Wii with Stella wii or Wii2600?

I can remember a webring of Jagfest pages around 2002/2003 around the world when Jagfest UK was starting off and there was a small obscure group of japanese atari fans that got together. Not sure what the website was now but I remember it was something pretty shoddy at the time so I doubt i'll be able to find any information on it. I know that the jaguar had a very limited release in Japan but i'm not so sure about the Lynx, so this could quite possibly be an import.

This looks awesome, wasnt there a group (many) years ago looking into doing a source port of Doom for jaguar and improving upon a few bugs? Would it be possible to work with them in conjuction with your idea to get a LAN or IP based doom working? (just a thought!)

Sweet, now i just need to dig out my jagcd to give this a whirl!

Managed to trade some Master system games with a guy in New Zealand for some 7800 goodies, only he traded at PAL 7800 with no cables (which i was happy with). My only query is using a UK PSU with a differernt PAL console, will it blow up if it plug in in?

So I just won a copy of Baldies for the Jaguar CD. Was reading reviews of games looking for ones I might like and after reading a few reviews and watching a couple videos decided I'd give Baldies a try as it looked fun. Well stupid me, I some how completely missed in everything I read about it that its not a cartridge based game. Luckily I didn't spend a lot on it so no real harm done, and plus I got Iron Soldier from the same seller along with it also new for quite cheap with discounted shipping. So anyway would any body be interested in trading a CIB cartridge game for a new sealed copy of Baldies? If so let me know what you've got and when my copy of Baldies arrives we can trade.
I'll also post photos of the games box when it arrives.:edit:
Woops I'd imagine this should probably go down in the market place section of the forum that I just know noticed lol.
How many gold pieces are you looking to trade for it? PM me if you'd rather not discuss it here.

Just sent you a message on ebay, but i'm definatly interested in this

Selling things like this as a high-priced lot is almost never a good idea. You'd be better off selling the system and joysticks together, and the light gun and games seperately.
Besides that, you'll end up regretting selling such a great system and library someday I bet!

and for a PSP? Believe me when i say it wont be worth it!

Up for grabs is an Atari Jaguar Travel Master Rental Hard Case.
Case comes complete with the original Jaguar that was used with it from a Scottsdale AZ rental store. Also comes with the original 2meg Cybermorph game, controller, and RF cable.
JSII price guide shows its worth $75 for just the case. Im asking $115 plus shiping for the case and Jaguar system. Will also toss in a CIB copy of Super Burnout.
Will ship domestically and International. Actual shipping charges only
Check you PM

Welcome to AtariAge! Just a word of advice before you start rolling out the cash for systems and carts. Have a look at the game library before buying and ask yourself, "will i play these games or collect these games?" If your here to play then try them out via emulation first to see if you enjoy the library of games, I dont mean the whole list, but try some 7800 and the better 2600 games and then decide.
I see lots of people collecting atari just because they visit the community on AA and decide that they want to be with the "in crowd".
Just a friendly word of advice.
Moving onto the choice between the 7800 and 2600, My vote follows the same course as The_Laird. The 7800 plays all 2600 games (minus a few) and currently has alot planned for it (Expansion module, New games, Harmony Cart).
Hope that helps.

I wonder if they kept back this commercial like they did with the 7800... Could explain why it looks so dated, even by 1990's standards!

Jagfest was the money taker for me, so the last 2 things i bought were from Stone, which included a Boxed Jag cd for £100 and an unboxed copy of Atari Karts for £30. I also bought a memory track but due to some strange fault, preventing curtain CD games from loading Mr Harlow has kindly sent out a replacement.
What i would like to get my hands on over the poorest month of the year would be coppies of sensible soccer and I-War

/an insight into thund3r's buying habbits.
I finally decided I was tired of my RF adapter and picked up some composite cables

I'm in no hurry to get them, plus i live on the other side of the pond

anyone know what the shipping is to the uk?
It's generally double the cost and a bit added for insurance. e.g. If i were to ship a N64 with games for £10 within the UK then from America its probably about £20-25 ($35/40).

This is turning out to be one expensive november...

Is this legal?
Is that all you give a shatte about? So what's it to ya man?? You & your pissing pal Laird gonna report me to Al and to the MPAA and to all the copyright dogs? wtf? Do some research before you start bitching at me. You use google extensively, looking up every funny picture on the net for the occasion, so why not plug this movie into wikipedia rather than suggest I'm doing something illegal here,.. pal???????
Holy shit mate, i was about to say well done and congratulate you on the project, then i read that. Im seriously getting bored of all this flaming now, all he was asking about was the project being legal and you throw a hissy fit?
Thank you, thund3r. I couldn't have put it better myself as that's all I did - ask a simple question. I empathise with ovalbugmann to a point as perhaps I ought to have used Google first to answer said question. As for the remainder of his post, i.e. the allegations and ranting, its probably best I refrain from comment so the thread doesn't turn into the flaming war you and I both would prefer not to ensue.
I prefer to stay as a middle man on arguments and flame wars, but sometimes i see the inconsistencies in peoples posts and it does irritate me. I will be downloading this release and I’ll let you know of my opinion on the CD but i do wonder about the jag community at times. There must be say a few hundred collectors / gamers around the world that support the Jag yet somehow being such a niche console and a small community its rife with flaming, accusations and stupidity! Must be the rarer and more obscure the console, the weirder the fans i guess... (take the neo-geo community for example.)
*edit*
Is there a chance someone can torrent the release for the more casual user?
