  1. I-War Sensible Soccer I finally decided I was tired of my RF adapter and picked up some composite cables I'm in no hurry to get them, plus i live on the other side of the pond
  2. Jagfest was the money taker for me, so the last 2 things i bought were from Stone, which included a Boxed Jag cd for £100 and an unboxed copy of Atari Karts for £30. I also bought a memory track but due to some strange fault, preventing curtain CD games from loading Mr Harlow has kindly sent out a replacement. What i would like to get my hands on over the poorest month of the year would be coppies of sensible soccer and I-War /an insight into thund3r's buying habbits.
  3. Lemme guess your name.... Andrew, by chance?

    Wanted NTSC N64

It's generally double the cost and a bit added for insurance. e.g. If i were to ship a N64 with games for £10 within the UK then from America its probably about £20-25 ($35/40).
  5. This is turning out to be one expensive november...
  6. Is that all you give a shatte about? So what's it to ya man?? You & your pissing pal Laird gonna report me to Al and to the MPAA and to all the copyright dogs? wtf? Do some research before you start bitching at me. You use google extensively, looking up every funny picture on the net for the occasion, so why not plug this movie into wikipedia rather than suggest I'm doing something illegal here,.. pal??????? Holy shit mate, i was about to say well done and congratulate you on the project, then i read that. Im seriously getting bored of all this flaming now, all he was asking about was the project being legal and you throw a hissy fit? Thank you, thund3r. I couldn't have put it better myself as that's all I did - ask a simple question. I empathise with ovalbugmann to a point as perhaps I ought to have used Google first to answer said question. As for the remainder of his post, i.e. the allegations and ranting, its probably best I refrain from comment so the thread doesn't turn into the flaming war you and I both would prefer not to ensue. I prefer to stay as a middle man on arguments and flame wars, but sometimes i see the inconsistencies in peoples posts and it does irritate me. I will be downloading this release and I’ll let you know of my opinion on the CD but i do wonder about the jag community at times. There must be say a few hundred collectors / gamers around the world that support the Jag yet somehow being such a niche console and a small community its rife with flaming, accusations and stupidity! Must be the rarer and more obscure the console, the weirder the fans i guess... (take the neo-geo community for example.) *edit* Is there a chance someone can torrent the release for the more casual user?

    Hot 7800 Pic

Nice photo, could have done with a slight depth of field in the forground or middle of the picture (to show the atari logo) but all in all nice lighting and good angle.
  13. Finally pre-ordered mine, are you debiting the cash when its shipped or is this a full down payment upon pre-order?
  14. Cheers mate, yea i dont mind if you email them over to me i can upload them off site and display the pictures that way.
  15. Hi all, i just won a nice auction of 2600 stuff with a console and a selection of games but i was wondering if anyone knew anything about the tray included in the auction? Obviously i dont have the console yet, so i cant comment on what make it has written on it, but has anyone seen one of these before? I can imagine they may have looked aesthetically pleasing in the late 70s/early 80s but now not so much
  16. So i was watching this auction eBay Auction -- Item Number: 170550726275 but unfortunatly missed it by a few minutes (doh!), just enquiring to see if anyone on AA won it, and what was in the box. No doubt its probably a stack of Meltdown carts...
  17. Hunted around JSII but couldn't see the scans, any luck finding them your end?
  18. Ok i've given this ago, i've wiped the MT, put blue lightning in and it pops up very briefly stating "writing to memory track" (or something similar) and then a black screen. It does however write it to the MT but still decides to hang on a black screen. One interesting thing to note is that when i put in the Myst demo an error pops up on the screen stating that it cant read from the CD, once i take the MT out and play the demo on its own it loads perfectly. I have tried other games and its the same across all of them. I have no idea whats wrong with this thing, i'm guessing its dud in some way? *edit* Hmmm, well i've just put in Vid Grid and its making noises, which sound like its loading and they happen periodically so my guess is the CD is trying to load the same bit of data to start the game?
  19. Done the self test and it said everything was ok, and i'm still getting a black screen with it plugged in
  20. hey mate, fancy a chat on XBL/PSN?

  21. Just yanked out the CD unit and put the cart in the jag and it works fine and shows a Blue Lightning save So the cart works fine, but i have no idea why it doesnt work in conjunction with a CD game...
  22. Hi all, i reciently purchased a brand new memory track but when i put the cart in and start up the jag, the cd spins and i hear it load but all i get is a black screen. The cart slot on it works fine, and i even see the jaguar logo when it starts, but then it just hangs. Anyone know why this is?
  23. But I would rather spend £70.99 on tempest 2000, which is one of the best games made (imo) in comparrison to most current generation games. Problem is with some of the old carts is that you would take your time in buying a cart for your console because you were spending alot of cash on it, now most people just blow £40 on a game and think nothing of it.
  24. Quick question, i wont be able to put my order down till the end of the month, will orders for the unit still be available until then? Fantastic work by the way, really excited for this!
  25. Picked these up in a local second hand store today. Everytime i go in there i feel like a kid in a sweet shop. Havent tried any of this yet but snagged the whole lot for £25, which i found pretty reasonable. One thing i have noticed reciently is that there seems to be alot of 7800 carts out in the wild around the UK and i hardly ever see 2600 carts in shops, occasionally i see them at boot fairs but there scarce.
