one of the reasons i collect master system games is due to the games being packaged in hard cases and its great for collectiing because at worse you get a game where the color has faded. The hard cases are also great because they protect the games well and look nice on my shelf

im 21 and a student who studies media and some of my friends at uni think its strange that i play old games rather than 360. But i guess ive always been one who stood out and liked to try something different. I think thats why i collect for systems i used to play when i was younger because most of the time alot of the older games are better and i have fond memories of them.. and somewhere along the like i just became fascinated with the 'retroism' of atari and got caught up in the nostalgia of it. So now i have a big Master system, 2600 and 7800 collection even though i do still play xbox, gc and DS.

Ok so i recieved a copy of bump n jump (silver label) only to find that it doesnt fit in my 2600. It doesnt push in, if you get what i mean and it looks like the teeth are too big to fit? (it may just be me) Anyway if anyone else has any problems with this game let me know.

if anyone has a copy and is able to ship it to the UK id be grateful.

hey guys, hope all was well last weekend, ive looked through all the pics and looks like your enjoyed yourself down south. Hope the worms tournament went well, i would have loved to be there just for that reason as theres nothing like 4 druken guys coming together to embrace the hectic game. Next year i will definatly come but no real promises at the moment, studies come first! If i do attend then ill sort out the checkered flag tournament that was going to be organised for this year, so watch out for that! i think it was the first time people got to see other consoles than sega's or nintendo's played on tv. I mean gamesmaster never really showed anything else!

Wait for the masses of people at E3 to roll around laughing when nintendo announce it. Man id love to be there. But like most people are saying, its still revolution to me. i just think nintendo ran out of ideas at the last second.

hi, ive just signed up to play online, and it was wondering if the service cost anything? because i havent signed up to get an ID for FFXI yet. I was wondering if the Play Online service itself is the subscription cost? or if its the Game ID number.

Im hunting down Starfox Assault and pikmin 2 at the moment, but they seem to be quite rare in the uk or Just selling for stupid prices. So my question is what games do you think will be rare after the demise of the cube?

the above 5200 emu was being developed by some one around the same time the jag cd encryption files were released. I think it may have been put on hold now, but it ran a few games.

my gamecube gets alot of attention atm. 4 player mario party 5 is a blast! especially when you mix it with alcohol!

How does the GC play compaired to the DC one. By this I mean, does it still have fustrating battle after battle with annoying enemies that spawn out of thin air every 5 seconds. I stopped playing the DC version after about 20 minutes because I go so sick and tired of the pointless non-stop fighting. Shame too because I thought I was going to like it at first. 991607[/snapback] Same here, i played skies on the DC for a few hours and got stuck, then a friend offered me £30 for it so i sold it on. But from what ive heard the DC version is far superior to the GC version, in that they took out some of the story when porting it accross to the GC. Plus its been "dummed down" for the gamecube, theres no drunken pirates etc..

id say yes, they've just gotten a shipment in for the dixons store in the uk, and my friend managed to pick one up

The dreamcast is like the jag's younger cousin, it was cut short of life, has some real gems on it and has a big homebrew scene!

if you want a game to keep you occupied grab castlevania, its a fun game and not as hard as its predesessors! ive been playing for months and im just over half way through!

Ah, it sucks that the programmers never got paid anything from the telegames release of the game. Atari, then sold the beta to telegames!?! Great strategy atari
