Several people asked me if I could do extra regular sized boxes for my trading card series. Those box designs are done now and they are ready to order. One box is EURO 12.00, if you want all four the total is EURO 45. There will be no additional shipping costs if you are going to order them with the 4th set. The 5th box will be available when the 5th and last set is ready to go in late June.

There is no card/box holder for the boxes, you have to do them by yourself. A dye cut tool is too expensive to do for the low numbers.

    Hope you like the boxes
    Marc.

EDIT: I have indefinitely postponed the Atari 2600 project.

    Hi everyone,

Welcome to my latest trading card series. After the Atari 7800 and the Intellivision now it’s time for the Atari 2600. The first series with 50 cards features the original Atari releases from 3-D Tic Tac Toe to Gremlins. The front side of a card shows the original release box art, on the back there are facts about the game as well as a screenshot, label front side and the front of the manual.

On the pictures you can see the test prints (yet with some wrong data that has been already corrected) and the cards have really turned out fine.

A set costs EURO 40 (about US$ 50) including shipping airmail letter (robust box/uninsured/no tracking/shipping time 5 to 10 days). For shipping as regular airmail parcel (robust box/insurance/tracking/shipping time 14 to 28 days, up to 5kg) you will have to add another EURO 35 (yep, shipping a parcel to North America is that expensive).
Since I have to pay the printer in advance I have to charge the amount up-front, so if you are interested in a set just drop me a PM with your Paypal address.

    Some additional info:
A set consists of 50 cards plus 1 index card, 2 promo cards and 1 INTV card The next set will be available in February The cards are printed professionally The box size is 13cm x 10cm x 2cm (slip lid box style) The front art of the cards depends on the first release of the game. If a game was first released in a silver box for example, and later also released in a red box, the silver artwork is shown, the red box will be just mentioned on the back of the card It's not a limited run, but after the first run the price will be higher (from EURO 40 to EURO 45) due to the lower production numbers Combined shipping letter airmail: It's possible for up to 3 sets, the first set costs EURO 40, the other two costs EURO 37 each Combined shipping airmail parcel: It's possible for up to 15 sets, the first set costs EURO 40, the additional copies cost EURO 37 each Shipping date: Production takes about 1 week, so the shipping will be one week after I've collected the money Pre-order is open until 09.01.2014 CET 4PM. On the following Sunday night I am going to order the first batch of this series. If there is enough interest after this first run I will order another batch. Due to lower production numbers the price will rise quite a bit If you don't want to be listed public please drop me a line and I'll remove the name Contact outside AtariAge: If you are interested in a set but not registered here at AtariAge you can drop me a line at: order@retrogamesshop.com Marc.

I am working on a series of trading cards for the INTV (with the support of the INTV Funhouse) for quite some time now after finishing the Atari 7800 trading cards. Today I have received the test prints and the cards are looking fine. I have to do a few small changes but then they are ready to go.

The first series with 50 cards features the original Mattel releases and a nice box. A set costs EURO 35 including shipping airmail letter (robust box/uninsured/no tracking). For insurance and tracking you would have to add another EURO 35 (yep, shipping a parcel to North America is that expensive).

Since I have to pay the printer in advance I have to charge the amount up-front. Just drop me a PM with your Paypal address.

EDIT: There is no Six Pack game, the real name is "Heart Like A Wheel"

Here's my take on 20th Centrury Fox' Six Pack (http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/unknown3/unknown3.htm). The label art is from the DVD release, promotional flyer/catalogs featured only the name "Six Pack", no boxart, no screenshots.

    Hello everyone,

In 2012 I released my first trading card set about the Atari 7800, covering the first-party games. Roughly 18 months later, I finally managed to send the Series 2 to the printer. This set is focusing on the third-party games (with the different region variations) and after market releases (since limited to 50 cards not all after market games (well, most of them are Bob’s creations hereJ) are covered yet, they will be added to Series 3 someday in the future, together with prototypes, hardware and other stuff). For a complete list of cards for series two please check the index cards added to this post.

Similar to Series 1 the cards are professionally printed and die-cut. Currently I have 30 sets of Series 2 available as well as 10 Series 1 sets. Together with Series 2 you will receive 2 replacement cards for 2 misprinted cards from Series 1 (Crack’ed and Super Huey).

    Costs:

    Series 1
    Europe: EURO 35 (includes shipping)
    NA: US$ 45 (includes shipping)

    Series 2
    Europe: EURO 35 (includes shipping)
    NA: US$ 45 (includes shipping)

    Series 1 + 2
    Europe: EURO 65 (includes shipping)
    NA: US$ 82.50 (includes shipping)

Shipping includes airmail in a robust box, no tracking, no insurance. Insurance and tracking adds EURO 12 in Europe and US$ 43 for North America.
    Payment: Paypal only

If you want a set (or both) just drop me a PM and I’ll send you the payment details.

    Best,
    Marc.

    PS: Next stop Intellivision J

This time it's the box for Mr SQL's port of the Philips Videopac hit Munchkin to the 2600 Supercharger. It's a limited real tape version like back in the days. You still can order it here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/222606-kc-munchkin-monster-maze-atari-2600/. My approach on this box is a mix of my Starpath template and the original Philips game.

    Hello everyone,

Quite some time ago I saw some nice trading cards for the Coleco over there in the Colecovision/Adam sub forum and thought that it would be nice to have something like this for the Atari and started doing some samples. It turned out to look nice so I made a set of 50 cards for a complete series that includes all original Atari releases. If I can raise enough interest I will do a second series with non-Atari releases, prototypes and new releases as well as a hardware and advertisement series (number of cards vary of course:).

First I thought it would be a good idea to do those cards by hand (Inkjet printing on photo paper, cutting by hand and so on), just like I do the boxes but it turned out to be to complicated with lots of chances to ruin a card during the process and to end up with a result that doesn't match my standards. So I went to my printer to do a test run for me. Today I've got my samples and I am very happy with the quality. Happy enough to show them here and ask if anyody else might be interested in a first set.

Enclosed you will find a lowres picture of a sample artwork (Ikari Warriors) and the index card as well as a preview of the complete test run. To do a production run I need a total of 25 sets. A set costs EURO 50 (includes shipping to EU and NA) and comes in a plastic tray. So if you are interested in a set just drop me a PM and I will inform you how to proceed when I've reached a total number of orders for 25 sets.

    Best,
    Marc.
