There is no system like the Vectrex and emulation does not do it justice. Turn off all the lights and watch the vectors trail as the images move. So many great games too.

The lot will probably go for much more than 200. Though personally, I'd just wait for someone with a better reputation. I'm a patient guy and will wait for the right deal. Some game designers want to keep costs for the buyer down. Its expensive to make overlays and they have to pass that on to the buyer.

It looks like a decent lot, however the seller has no feedback. Personally, I'm not a fan of buying a system that I A) have to ship and B) have not played. I think its better to get the system locally (even if you have to drive a little) and then pick up any games you might need.

Look at craigslist. They are out there. Most come with several games. http://richmond.craigslist.org/vgm/3906022017.html http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/ele/3920540812.html

I finally got around to testing the AtariVox+ that I received from Wolfpackmommy on my Vectrex. I was able to try out YASI and Space Frenzy with VecVoice and Color Clash with VecVox. No problems, very nice.

I had not heard of production beyond that but I was out of the game for a while. Did 3D Vec Trek become 3D Star Fury?

Was Lord of the Robots ever re-released or was production kept at the original 100 release?

It is easy to add shirkwrap to a box these days to make a mint CIB game sell for more money. So, you have to be very careful when buying ANY sealed game. People do it all the time with SNES titles. I was not present when games were sold new and I haven't seen much conversation regarding sealed games. Milton Bradley might have done things differently, which would explain why European games are much cleaner than USA games. If American games came with seals, there would be far less boxes with stickers and at least 60-70 percent of CIB games come with stickers directly on the box. Its impossible to say at what point in its life those stickers were added though.

I've heard that the factory never sealed Vectrex games, that only some dealers places a band around the entire box covering both end flaps. I'm also not sure that there is an MB version of Minestorm II but you just missed 2 carts on Ebay this past week at $565 and $499.

Quick look at 1983 Video Game vendor ads

Even CIB Systems aren't much more expensive than that these days. I have seen 4.99 sale stickers on games like Star Castle, Polar Rescue and Pole Position which all sell for 100+ these days. I'd take that deal. -
Sounds like finding a new distributor would be a solution a bunch of peoples problems.

I thought that Color Clash was a cool game and looking at this I think its cool too. What ever happened to it?
