  1. Go to the Checklist, enter available into the search box within the table.
  2. Glad to see that Kristof was willing to help.

    Mr. Boston?

There's actually about 5 currently for sale.

    Mr. Boston?

As if Mr Boston didn't garner enough attention on its own.... It's been mentioned on numerous "Most Expensive" and "Rarest Game" threads, videos and articles.
  5. If you're going to talk to David, you should make a new agreement. He's a good guy to deal with that's why John Donzila picked him.
  6. Packrat has posted on Facebook. There is a backlog of orders. More good news is they've posted a picture of the new color manual for VeCaves and mentioned that Thrust will receive a minor update to fix a bug in the unlockable bonus game.
  7. I'd recommend allowing at least a week for a reply from any homebrew developer. Video games are typically a part time job for these people and sometimes they only respond to emails once a week, if that often. I have spoken to David within the week. There are future plans for Packrat. No end anytime soon.
  8. That way Vectorzoa was able to track the people which had the Rom. He might have even programmed data into the game to track it should it ever surface elsewhere.
  9. No one sells Roms for the Vectrex period. Only free download or carts for sale.

    50TBRD's wanted list

Was able to acquire Sectis and Vector 21, still looking for the rest.
  11. I posted this on the Vector Gaming Forum before but thought I'd post it here. Does anyone know the whereabouts of these rare Vectrex carts? I, Cyborg 000 Royal 21/ Vector 21 000/000 Double Cart Sundance 000 (Dark of the Sun variant) War of the Robots 000 (Omega variant) War of the Robots Omega War of the Robots CGE2K3 Zantis 000 (99 Ways to Die variant) What about a way to contact WizDawg believed to still be the owner of Vectrexians Deluxe?
  12. You can pay 2-3 times what VectrexMads reproductions cost but his are scratch-free and every bit as good as the original in every way. About the only way to tell they're a replica is the copyright info that runs up the backside.
  13. I believe Madtronix did attempt that with ok results.
  14. There are only 40 Debris overlays. 20 for the Exclusive Edition and 20 for Debris Revisited VIP Edition. You will have to make your own design. Scans are something that people don't do on rare items so no one makes fakes.
  15. There's no point to a dedicated Repro of a production game but to clutter the market. If you cannot afford the real thing, there's Multicarts to play it. It's either so the reproducer can make a quick buck (off a property that doesn't belong to him) or so someone down the line can pass it off as the real thing. It's a different story if it was a game that was never released.
  16. Best to get a controller and the Minestorm overlay with the unit rather than pay 70-100 for just a controller and 40-60 for the Minestorm overlay.
  17. I would buy 2. You send 1 to Jason and 1 to me. Jason sends me his old one and pays shipping for his new unit. Essentially, Jason gets an upgrade for shipping away and shipping to him and I still get 2 units.
  18. Since I intend to purchase 1 or even 2 of the new ones, you can send one of the new ones to Jason and Jason can send his old one to me.
  19. Options on ebay are better now than they were a year ago. Prices are better too.
  20. The YASI overlay has not been released as a download and no one has scanned it either because the design belongs to VectrexMad! and Company. I've made my version of Protector available for download on my website (iesposta's link is a variation I made based on his preference). http://tbone1892001.wix.com/vectrex-guide#!downloads/cqz The YASI overlay is supposed to get a second printing soon. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pascual.nicholson/news.htm Alternatively, you can purchase the Vectrexians game (with overlay) or just the overlay and it will work similarly. http://users.skynet.be/kristofsnewvectrexgames//
  21. The "How to make an Overlay" tutorial belongs to Mark DeSmet. He is the one who developed VeCaves for the Vectrex. That is the method he used to make overlays which were included in the earlier copies of VeCaves. I have tried that method with ok results. As decoration, it's an acceptable method. As a method of colorizing vectors, the saturation is far to low for satisfactory results especially with certain colors. I was never pleased with its rigidity and could never eliminate the microscopic bubbles created by the layers of self adhesive laminating sheets which might just be a result of the brands I was able to locate, though I tried several different brands. Try my new method which just uses the four layers of transparency film without the self adhesive laminating film. Within the month, the just might make a how to page for it with each step. Thank you. I'm an enthusiast just like you and wanted an every person's Protector Overlay. The file for making your own Protector overlay is on my site (with others) though there just might be a screen printed version in the near future. http://tbone1892001.wix.com/vectrex-guide
  22. You use 4 sheets of transparency film. You print two standard and two reverse images and fuse the edges together with a soldering iron making sure that the images are properly aligned. This produces a self made overlay which is both ridged and has saturation equivalent to that of a screen printed overlay. In between the second and third sheets, you have to do the white opaque border. Use any of the following transparency films - Precision 10-405, 3M CG3460, CG3480, Arkwright 345-25-01, and HP C3834A. Look for deals where you can get 40-50 sheets for around 25USD or less. Images and greater detail are in the following link. http://vectorgaming.proboards.com/thread/1418/modified-diy-overlay-technique
