  1. How is the Computer version that much better than console version? I had both, and I thought it was just graphics that was different. Also... was either Star Raiders or Starmaster ever released to any 16-bit systems?
  2. - People who "correct" your "error"... even though you're 100% correct. Example: I often tell people I've been on the internet since 1987. Inevitably some idiot will tell me the internet has not been around that long. I wish people would learn to keep their stupidity to themselves.
  3. I'm looking for photos for the end of Metroid Prime. Anyone know where I can find it?
  4. I would not let it go. It's dishonest sellers like this that make Ebay not work. I'd at least leave negative feedback.
  5. Tell the seller you want the game even though it's not functional: - If he sells it to you, great. - If not, then he's lying... pure and simple. Then contact Ebay and tell them the seller sold the item away from Ebay to avoid fees. Ebay does not appreciate such behaviors.
  6. Yeah, but you'll never have to buy another savecard (unlike other systems...cough...Cube). My PS2 card is a 1.5 years old and still half empty. Here's my list of "must haves" for the PS2: Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits Dance Dance Revolution Konamix Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 Ico Kingdom Hearts NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona Red Faction Rez Soul Edge/Blade Space Channel 5 Tekken Tag Tournament Virtua Fighter Evolution Xenosaga
  7. How is buying/selling old Atari/NES carts any different than buying/selling PS2/box/cube games at EBgames? I say, "Go for it!" If you can find a way to escape from corporate slavery and become your own boss, then cheers to you.
  8. PLAY GAME # 4 AND TELL ME THIS GAME IS EASY. Wow... I just tried it and I was dead in about 2 minutes.
  9. I'm LOVING my new Zelda Collection. It's kinda sad that my favorite Gamecube game is actually a port of old NES/N64 games. Nintendo's really lost their polish.
  10. Why is he calling you a "nigga"? Forward the email to the buyer so the buyer knows not to trust the guy.
  11. I've got ~20 bottles of shampoo I want to get rid of. This is probably a good day to do that. Otherwise I'd spend ~$6.00.
  12. I don't hear people saying that they need to put a new ink tape into their printer. It is an ink cartrige. My cow-orkers call it "toner" or just "ink". I think it's only us geeks that use the proper terms.
  13. How many games does the PS2 have? How many games does the PS1 have? How many games does Xbox and Gamecube have? I looked, but I could not find any lists on sony/nintendo/microsoft.com Thanks! :-) EDIT: I looked on gamerankings.com, and again I could not find a list, but I was able to calculate an estimate: PS1=1350 PS2=675 Box=360 Cube=290
  14. Cool, thanks! Now I can watch the whole story. I *love* when games have secret self-playing modes. When I had an Amiga, I used to input the code, and just sit back and watch Dragon's Lair or Space Ace straight through. I did get past that annoying boss today, but it was purely by luck. I still can't get the timing right for those tentacles, but I was able to survive with just one star. I need to show this game to my mom and friends. They'll probably laugh out loud! .
  15. No, there's much more to it, but I didn't want to spoil the story. The story basically revolves around Yuna and how to keep her from dying while fighting Sin. It's also discovered that Sin is not just some big whale, because he's part of the government's control system. Well whatever. I liked the story. I played through it in only 3 days, because I was anxious to see how it ended.
  16. Computer auto-play code? I have no idea what that is. But I've decided to quit the game. I am pressing the correct buttons, but it's not registering. I don't think the game is properly balanced (fair), so I'll just sell it. I don't mind hard games, but I do mind when the buttons don't register properly.
  17. The Sphere System is just a linear line for most of the characters. So, don't worry about it and just keep leveling up along the linear path. By the time you reach a point where you can branch, you'll be almost done with the game. And story, I don't why you don't like it. There's love, intrigue, and betrayal. I thought it was great.
  18. Defuser? Funny. I always thought it was called a "water bucket" (hence the splashing sound). LOL! Follow the KISS principle... keep it simple. And yeah, it's better to deliberately miss just before 1000 so the pace will slow down. How do I know? Larry Kaplan told me! 50 Hz = 50 Hertz = 50 cycles per second. That's how fast the PAL version of Kaboom runs, which means it's slower, which means it's also easier.
  19. Star Castle is too quiet. So, if Atari "lost" the license for Star Castle, which system got it?
  20. Ripoff. The problem with PS2s is not overheating. It's dust that collects on the lens. This fan would just make that problem worse by sucking *more* dust into the system. .
  21. People don't buy much after Christmas? When does the buying pick up again?
  22. I agree. My credit card says, "DEMAND/ask for photo ID," but since the thief created a fake card, that didn't do any good. Well whatever. Maybe I could change my address, and let the thief pay off my debt.
  23. My relatives did the same thing when I had an Atari. "Here's your Christmas Present... I got you some tape for your Atari." I think it's simple. They don't know what to call them. Imagine that someone just handed you a black box for the first time labeled "Pac-Man". You know it's not a tape... so what is it called? The term "cartridge" is unknown to most people. .
